Armaan's character is the only one ..

...that has been consistent in it's characteristics.

Armaan is the same way he has been from Day 1 but Riddhima? Oh no. This Riddhima Modi is not that sweet, 'ol Riddhima Gupta we all fell in love with. She is not that Riddhima who spreads happiness wherever she goes, who is sweet, elegant, and simple. Ohh no. I have not seen the earlier scenes between Sid and Riddhima but from what I can tell, all that fighting was dirty .. Riddhima yelling rape and whatnot. Riddhima was always someone who knew what she wanted to do. Confused was not in her dictionary. But now? Confused is all she is. She doesn't know her duty, her love, her anything. And the saddest thing is, she is no longer the sweet Riddhima we had come to love.

If you all remember AR's early scenes, their fighting was sweet ... and cute ... and lovable .. and most of all - clean. That is why we love AR. 😳

And then there's Sid. Sid's character, from what I have come to believe, used to be one of a kind of jerk-ish but cute guy?! (help me out here) And then when he married Riddhima, he became a little more mature, a little more caring, and he helped Riddhima out when she needed someone. Even as an AR fan, I do think that what Sid did .. to that point ... was right. But then, Armaan came and all this drama happened. And Sid went through a few phases:

  1. He was supportive of AR. He was sad but wanted Riddhima to be happy with Armaan. We all loved him, right then. 😆
  2. He became an angsty, angry young man (with none of the charisma of Mr. Bachchan) for no reason. He was half-angry at himself for being angry at Riddhima (as I understood it) and half at Riddhima. And here is a quote from Karan Wahi's latest interview - "But I can't relate much to the present character of Sid because he's a married man and I'm not, he's irritated of something don't know what?" So Karan Wahi (the actor who plays Sid) doesn't even know what Sid's problem is. Hmm. That's a problem. At least the actor should know the reasoning behind his character's behaviors. So Cv's, what do you have to say for this?
  3. Sid is now a socially awkward person attempting to get his wife back. (Wasn't he the cool dude in the beginning of the show?) He has gone from SUPER angry at Armaan to 'Armaan, Armaan please help me get my wife back'.
Were there any transitions or any logic to any of this? NO. 😕

No reasons were given as to why Sid had all these phases, how he got out of them, or any of that. The CV's are going 'round and 'round and are incapable of making a decision. It cannot be more obvious that AR are the majority but noo ... we're just going to beat around the bush until our ENTIRE viewership goes to 0% cuz everyone is so sick of us. And then, even KSG won't be able to make DMG come back.

Please don't bash. This is for a healthy discussion and I truly feel the CVs have lost even the little amount of brains they did have.

And I forgot to mention that Sid has become BFF with Armaan now. For what reason? I've no clue.

basically NO ACTOR knows what the character is doing
Sad state of affairs- how do you expect the actors to give their best when they are so at loggerheads with what they have to portray-
1) Jen is irritated evidently at the way Riddhima has become a Buddhi- Her own words in TT interview
2) KSG feels its foolish how Armaan is behaving and doesnt understand the reason why
3) KW doesnt know the reason behind the disgruntled feelings in Sid

WOW! Hats ooff to the scriptwriters. how do they expect the audiences to connect when the actors themselves cant??
