Television actress Jennifer Winget aka Dr. Riddhima Modi of STAR One's Dill Mill Gayye will be celebrating her 25th birthday this Sunday. The actress thanks all her fans for supporting her and loving her. She believes that she is God's beloved child.We spoke to Jennifer Winget on before her birthday.
Tell us how you are planning to celebrate your birthday?
I might be shooting for Dill Mill Gayye but this time it would be dual celebrations because on 29th, I will be shooting the whole night for Zara Nachke Dikha, so I think the cast and crew have planned some surprise for me, then next, I will be on the sets of Dill Mill Gayye, so it is great to work on your birthday and I might get an half day.
Any memorable birthday you can think of?
I had so many memorable birthdays during my college days and school days and also as an actress but one thing which I am greatful to God is that on most of my birthdays, I have got an off so I might get an off for this birthday as well.
Tell us about your journey and association with STAR channel?
Overall, it has been great and I feel fortunate enough that my first show on television was with STAR Plus' Shaka Laka Boom Boom and from this show, I have grown as an actress as well as good human being, then my journey started from Kahinn To Hoga, Kya Hoga Nimmo Ka and all these roles were cameos but still laid a strong foundation for my career but my first major break was through Kasauti Zindagi Kay in which I played the role of Sneha, daughter of Prerna and Anurag, from that show's success and hard work came to me. I got immense love and support from my fans and now also I am getting the same love.
You have completed 7 years in the industry. Tell us what you've learnt.
I can't believe that in this industry, I have completed seven long years and in these years, I have learnt many things and I have grown as actor. I didn't have to struggle to get roles and for that I must thank God for his love and support because while I was doing Kasauti…I got to play the lead Ganga in Sangam for STAR Plus, from this character also I went through a lot of emotions acting wise, then I participated in a dance reality show Zara Nachke Dikha on STAR One, which again tested my dancing abilities, then I got an offer to play to Dr. Riddhima Gupta for Dill Mill Gayye. Here in this role also audiences and loyal fans of Dill Mill Gayye accepted me and now too people are loving me, after looking at my career, I feel really blessed to get such wonderful opportunities.
I don't feel bad of being a replacement to this character, which is loved so much. I tried my luck in doing comedy by participating in Comedy Circus, which was very hard for me then I got a golden opportunity again from STAR for anchoring Laughter Ke Phatke, which also tested me as an anchor. Now I am anchoring STAR Plus' Zara Nachke Dikha, which I am enjoying. I feel happy and blessed to be loved not only by audiences but also the channel STAR, who have always trusted me and have given me opportunities to grow as an actor.

I feel lucky that I am a part of STAR's prestigious awards and I am happy that my family has completed 10 years. I have very sweet memories from these awards ceremony.
Can you share some memories with us?
I remember when I was doing Shakalaka Boom Boom, I was very nervous to be a part of the award ceremony. I felt nervous about what I should wear for the red carpet and for the main event. I saw Mr. Bachchan's aura at the awards: How he was being loved and that time I thought that one day, I will become as famous as him. I can't touch his success of course because he is a living legend, then I got a place in the back row. Later, I got the Best Beti Award for Sneha in Kasuati Zindagi Kay. I always tell my family: Don't say anything bad about me as I am the best beti in STAR Parivaar.
