With Kareena Kapoor delaying the publicity shoot of Milenge Milege till the last possible minute, Boney Kapoor can only fume about this cliff hanger situation.
After months of literally pleading with Kareena Kapoor for dates to do the publicity shoot of his film Milenge Milenge, Boney Kapoor is now at the end of his tether. With the release of the film scheduled for July 9 and Kareena still to complete the shoot, he's decided to go ahead - with or without Kareena's promised publicity campaign.
But Kareena, it seems, has finally given Boney dates on May 30 and 31.
Corrects Boney, "She hasn't given me dates - she has given me time, just a couple of hours, on those two days. But that's all we need to do her photo-shoot. We can't do anything else with her because now there's no time. But I am not sure she can make it back to Mumbai as promised.
Kareena is shooting for Golmaal 3 in Goa and it involves the combined dates of so many busy stars. But May 30 is the cut-off point for me. If she doesn't show up till then, I'll go ahead without her publicity. I am keeping my fingers and toes crossed."
This isn't the first time Boney has had a problem getting dates from Kareena. During the making of Dharmesh Darshan's Bewafaa, a long schedule in Canada had to be delayed because of Kareena's dates. Boney, who produced the costly film, at one point got so agitated that he threatened to burn the negatives of the film in front of Kareena's house.
Kareena finally managed to reach Canada and complete the film. In her defence, that was the time when her father Randhir Kapoor had undergone a heart surgery.
When Boney had launched Milenge Milenge in 2004 (it's a remake of Serendipity) with Shahid and Kareena Kapoor, they were a couple and most enthusiastic about doing the film. Boney must have never imagined that their personal relations would give him so much grief later.
