Dear MJHT team,
I'm a avid Mjht fan.. and i love Mayur as a couple the most...
recent rumours and news, about the death of one of our beloved, has put the whole fan base, specially in 'India forums' in total distress and uproar.
We can't believe what MJHT has become… from a "light hearted love story"....to "guess who's dead"??!
It's become a cross over between typical Saas-bahu soaps and C.I.D.. You may think this is a complement but we absolutely hate it. I don't think there can be even one fan, who is "happy" about their lead dying.
Now instead of rolling your eyes at this letter.. Please hear me out.
Now i know you will not kill one of them forever. You will probably bring back the character, such as Mayank, (judging upon the precap). Because i trust you're surely clever enough to realise, that killing one of them permanently... Will mean the show is also dead.
By the way, if you want to kill one of the most loved, main characters, or side line them for the benefit of "new ones". Forget it, nobody cares. It's like saying....i'll take away your home, but i'll give you many blankets instead. Irreplaceable, silly and uncomparable.
Killing a character also brings problems because then bringing one back.... is just typical saas-bahu drama, a typical storyline. Totally unrealistic and devastating for fans, but of course if you plan to kill one of them, we want them back ... but by the time you bring them back... half of us will go, from the anguish.
I know that as a fan, i cannot stand when Mayank and Nupur are apart, i hate their distant fights… let alone death!! i cannot watch them apart in pain for more then a few days... and when they'r dead it will be devastating to me, please don't do this…
I can't even watch the old scene of 'Mayur', without worrying one is dead... it's effecting my view of the whole show as well, … if this horrid joke, this saas-bahu type story is played on us, after 2 years of blissful memories… I cannot see this as a "fun" show anymore. I know that many other fans are thinking of quitting.
So please listen to us, we don't want what happened to DMG to happen to our beloved MJHT. Many fans are in distress; this is not what we were looking forward too. Even if its 400 episodes completed, many people don't really feel like celebrating, and half have stopped caring in anger.
Thank you for your time.
- From Rue, MJHT fan.
