Appreciation of Nupur:part 1

Discalimer:this topic is not meant for reminiscing nupur,b'coz I m not ready to believe she is d one who is dying,I think cvs have some sanity left not to kill off her character?Nupur- what she means to mjht?.mjht certainly cant do without her.here is d appreciation of nupurs character as a perfect daughter

this scene made me increase my respect for this character by many folds.As an ideal daughter who believes that a girl before marriage is her fathers most precious possession and his pride,she was ready to let go off her love for the sake of her fathers honour.At a time when Mayank lost his way by dressing up like a groom in Adhirajs disguise,she made it clear to him in a subtle,calm but heartbreaking way that she cant let her Dad b unhappy and fr that she is ready to sacrifice her love.In the age where children blinded by love think of nothing but their happiness,she easily can be seen as an epitome. A girl with modern outlook,yet grounded by traditional values....

Akin to a young child she always thought her dad is the bestest and would always take a decision that will give her happiness.But to her utter shock,she found it During the time of her marriage that for her father she was a mere priced possession to b disposed off as early as possible.(I loved baujis characterization because this clearly shows the greatness of nupurs character)....

When adhirajs father doubted her character and hurled insults

over her character,she sat quitely in the mandap and bore it cause she knew that retaliating back or even leaving the place would bring disgrace to her dads name.It was shocking however to see that Mayank ansered Adhirajs dad back.but her own father who brought her up did nothing.

When bauji asked mayank whether he would marry his daughter,the content look on her face that their love has been finally accepted by her father was noteworthyThe feeling that her and mayanks love would be cemented into a wonderful bond called "marriage" and solemnised by her father was so aparent on her face. the time of kanyadaan where the the father has to keep the brides hand in the grooms hand,she got the faith restored that her dad would always take decisions that would never leave her unhappy.

Finally came the true showing of her dads character,he banished the newly weds out of his life,his house.And then came the resolve in nupur to prove a point it to her dad that her husband is right and their love is right."Bauji galat hai mayank,unhone humaare pyaar ko nahi samjha,tum sahi ho aur humaara pyaar sahi hai",she spoke these lines not out of vengefulness or not out of resolution to belittle her father,but to prove that hers and mayanks love is not chaste and is strong enough to cross any hurdles.

The caring for a person she is,even after being banished from her maternal house,she still cared for its pride,and that showed when she asked her sister not to do anything which would tarnish their fathers pride.

During the hardships her and her family faced when gunjan got shot,she could have easily avoided to interact with shashi bhushan,the man who insulted her husband and drew questions over his abilities.But she overlook that side of mr bhushans character and chose to look him as a person who was completely broken seeing his "only" daughter juggling between life and death.how heartbreaking it must have felt fr nupur when he said that he has only one daughter and thats gunjan,bt still she forgot the differences and gave him hope in the time of despair.

Nupur has always been a perfect daughter,only if some people could realise it...

Hats off to this wonderful character and an enigma called Nupur...

GUYS WE WUD CERTAINLY NOT LIKE TO LOSE A GEM OFA CHARACTER LIKE NUPUR,RITE???

beautiful post dear ............very heart touching ........ i agree with each and every word of yours .....................the charcter of nupur is such a mgical one ............she capitvates everyone by her charm , her child like innonence ........... i actually fall short of words wenever it comesto describing her coz she is a character soo very close to my heart .......................i loved your description ofnupur as a daughter ...........and waiting to read her description as a wife and sister as well ..................ijust pray that cvs have not lost it and......are not thinking of killing her dats all i can say ............loved the post lot ..........itsan absolute delight to read ..........
