What i love about Geet and hated about Maaan!!

Hey lovelies!! :)

Hope you had an amazing day and loved Geet's guts and Maan's shorts.. 😆😆

Well, i just had a few thoughts about the episode and could not help myself from penning them here!!

I absolutely love the show Geet.. its nice, new, fresh and unpredictable. Its absolutely a breath of cool, nice and fresh air. why so? I did not expect Maan to leave Geet like that behind and them not meeting again. I had hoped that Maan would go back [the hero always does]; and thats why i am so amazed.

Geets going back in the truck, Brij and standing up against her darji was just OUTSTANDING!! 👏👏👏👏

My Quote of the day goes to Geet and her outstanding bravery:

I"n the depth of winter, I finally learned that there was within me an invincible summer."

And although i am disappointed that Maan didn't go back searching for Geet; I am glad he didn;t since this is maintaing the freshness of the show. The fact that they didn;t meet in the Gudwara just makes the story more interesting, more now than ever... Hats off to the creatives for such a buff story line!! 👏

ALso, there has been quite a discussion about honor and family on this forum which i unfortunately dont have the time to read till Friday due to exams; i cannot help but just say that to families, Honor is very important. People live for honor; since a life without it is a ruined life. However, in Geet;s case its not her fault - but Darji's fault completely yet he has the audacity to blame Geet!! 😡 This shows yet another aspect of the human being and how we socialize. We never see our faults, let alone accepting them. Darji is going to blame Geet since he cannot even think that he has made such big a mistake that its going to cost Geet her life.

Now comparing a life to honor!! i just say that in some cases like Geet's Life is better since she has nothing to hide. under different circumstances, death is better than a life of humiliation!!

What do you guys think?

I also found it a little odd that Maan didn't go back searching for Geet, just like in one of his very first appearances when he told her to get out of the jeep, but I think Maan feels someone will be bound to rescue her, anyway, so that he doesn't actually feel like he's abandoning her. Like, that time when they met at the lodge, he bitterly said something like, "And even if some little trouble befalls you, someone will always be there to help you, right?" I think if he really felt she would be stranded, he would help her because he's assisted her in dire situations before (potentially drowning, car coming at her, etc.).

I also agree with you that his attitude maintains the freshness of the show. I love that his character isn't a cheesy lover boy, he's a man with (smoldering hot!) shades of arrogance.

I agree with everything you said dear, and yeah I expected Maan-Geet to meet at the temple, but what we predict never really happens in the show, and that's a good thing!
Loved Geet's guts today, and I'm just curious to see how she will be able to bring her baby safely into the world esp with Brij and Daarji being so adamant on this honor issue, not caring about what Geet really wants to do!

I definitely loved the way Geet boldly tells her family that she is preggy....Loved the way she stood in front of Brij and challenged him and his views......Loved it the way she declares that she will not abort the child at any cost...after all, by now she knows tht the marriage was fake and she is NOT Dev's wife....

But I didnt find anythign wrong in Maan not coming back to search or Geet.....He did try his best to be responsible, make her understand that she shld go back with him but she didnt listent to him.....then how can he force her...he can force her for things in which he has a stake but something thats none of his business, he can just suggest to some extent......After she started shouting on the road telling him to leave her alone, he had no other go......So, he did try making her see sense in her gng back with him but she didnt listen....but his gng back now wuld have been very out of his character.....He has this ego/anger/self-respect tht he can stretch only so much!!
