it was in straight words DISGUSTING and in BAD TASTE to show the love making act weaved in between the holy occasion of marriage.. and that too with the sacred shloks being played in the background ... it was awful....i just am shocked and angry at the CVs not at the actors/couple
their love making act ..... whatever my views i resist stating them ... but the act should have found some other time to get shown...not when the purity, togetherness and love of matrimony was getting celebrated...
by showing the act merged into these moments only made it seem sinful...
well totally my pov...

I agree nandu di..........i too felt d same thing

i still think shlokas are inappropriate

for love making scenes

Caro ji, ek ya do candles se kya fire hota...?😆.... that's why they used so many.....LOL
But it was the whole idea of taking the wedding vows again.... so it still justifies MN saat pheraas and sysmbolic fire of candles... and the wedding shloakas sounded appropriate there... as both M and N were seriously trying to relive the pheraas...
But the same shlokas... vidya balam chandra balam tadev.... looked so out of context for SG love making scene... they could have waited for MN scenes to finish and then put any other emotional song or romantic song for SG....
I guess neither the editors nor the director feels the need to understand the importance of wedding shlokas...

ROFL true

u need a pyre for pheras not a candle..

then makes sense...

i dunno what the shlokas mean..but every shloka is holy

they are trying to symbolise some sort of unity..okay..i get it.... there are a lot of awesome songs

that could be used
there were a few sg songs that were good long ago...

My friend asked me to post here... and meaning too... I guess it is a moot point but still I had to say what I needed to say....

Tadeva lagnam sudinam tadeva, taara-balam chandra-balam tadeva
Vidyaa balam daiva-balam tadeva, Lakshmi-pateh tenghri yugam smaraami
Shubh Mangal Saavdhaan!

Meaning :

For getting the proper holy time, for getting strength of stars, for getting the strength
of moon , for getting strength of knowledge , for getting support from God , I again and
again meditate on Vishnu who is the consort of Goddess Lakshmi.

another interpretation is

'I meditate on the two lotus feet of the Lord of Lakshmi (i.e. Narayan or Vishnu) because they alone represent the most auspicious time, they alone make a day a good day, they alone are the beneficial strength of all stars combined, they alone are the strength of the moon, they alone are the strength of all education, and they alone are the strength of all devas combined.

I come from a vedic family... I read sanskrit as a young kid.... and still practice most of the traditions even in US... why is it a hard concept to grasp ...some things are out of bounds for for twisting... Oh well live and learn..

I agree with you...They should have shown both MN (Taking vows)and SG(love making) scenes separately..I really wanted to see MN scenes on TV ..But could not ...Have to depend on YT...I don't say SG were wrong or right because i don't have right as i don't follow their story and it's their personal ...If they had shown it seperately , it could have been better for every SG or MN fan...

I found it inappropriate that sloka chantin was used for the SG scene and that Mayank-nupur were talkin abt death while taking their weddin vows 😕...if they were to say their own vows why use the slokas ....they purely wanted to show tat the relationships for both couples are reachin another level...fine..they could have certainly spared the slokas for background...but the sad truth is indian television always make a mockery of such sensitive issues.

hann...ur rite!
now i feel that mayur r much more sensible n innocent..
they stay in their limits even after they r married,so that they can first fulfill their dreams n then move on with their personal life..

it was not necessary for sajan to prove their love this way..
both of them now, canot be potrayed as innocent people.,like the cv's used to show earlier!

I think now we are speaking like politicians who derive pleasure in creating a mountain out of a molehill. I think the makers can take certain creative liberties. Common it was used for aesthetic purposes haven't you seen them being used in other shows why create a hue & cry about it. we really tend to be harsh on the cv's it is not really easy churning out stuff for dailies. They have to meet schedules & don't really have all the time in the world to think what will make everyone happy.
