I really don't get it, Sajan's love can be pure, but having songs of god's played while their romancing is wrong. Especially seeing that they weren't even married, and got intimate.

I agree, but fault does NOT lie with SaJan, nor Monaya.....

Actions are but by intentions. Even if you think that you can hide your intentions, they will creep, surface, rise for all to see....even if they remain hidden from your own self.

So, what were the intentions in showing this?

Characterizations are a fusion of words and flesh, if you remove any part it becomes the less....I have long since seen and felt new heart's presence...and unfortunately I do not like its intentions!

Sorry, for rambling.....but truly this is 'an end' of a season which severs it from its own past and without a hope of flowing naturally towards another...

Hey! I kinda thought it added more whatchcall it? 'feel' to the scenes. But I agree the scenes shown today were simply unacceptable!

Kiran....really thoughtful post...i wanted so much to post on this topic but seeing the current plight of the forum & show , in terms of its future...i opted out ...but cannot help but post my view here in yours
it was in straight words DISGUSTING and in BAD TASTE to show the love making act weaved in between the holy occasion of marriage.. and that too with the sacred shloks being played in the background ... it was awful....i just am shocked and angry at the CVs not at the actors/couple
their love making act ..... whatever my views i resist stating them ... but the act should have found some other time to get shown...not when the purity, togetherness and love of matrimony was getting celebrated...
by showing the act merged into these moments only made it seem sinful...
well totally my pov...

well it depends on how you think of marraige..what was depicted through both MN and SGs sequence while the SHLOK (that hindus chant while taking the vows) played was simply UNION ..of MIND...BODY AND SOUL....

something like this has been depicted in movies like parineeta before (somehow I cant credit the CVs with symbolism for crying out loud 🤣 ).. thats what I think the purpose was..I dont think there was any intention of maligning the pious shloks..if anything they wanted to use it to depict the purity of both the sequences..

I don't think CVs know how to show an aesthetic sequence....

and it was the MANTRAS that sanctify the process of marriage.... what irked me is even the words were all wrong to shoot such a sequence... tara balam chandra balam ta daiva ... that is the Mantra.. how would it be relevant to consummation... one side they were showing the the sanctity of marriage and saath vachans interspersed with Sajan love making sequence... I get it you want to show the whole body soul milaap thing... this is a wrong way to show.... and picturization was BAD...

but ..I don't think the mantras were played to show the deeper meaning we think and interpret... they were just plain lazy to anything else... I don't think they realize the value of sacred vedas and the meaning they behold....

And I agree with Nandita.... they should have separated the two events preserving the sanctity of marriage ...

word. and the fact that she was so 'content' with what she did. if its all about the 'soul' union then why have something like MARRIAGE to begin with?? just go off and live with your boyfriends and practice all this jazz without marriage! fun fun fun!! 😍
