Pratigya's basic human rights are being abused.

She must hurry and report to the nearest Police station, or contact any women's help organisation for immediate rescue.

It is probably the greatest and most shameful thing to support Krishna after that slap ... and this attempt to Rape.

Perhaps because of the environment ... Kesar have been subdued and enslaved by such sadistic and brutal people.... and slowly Pratigya is being subjected to the same harsh treatment.
This slow but sure torture .... which will probably gradually increase ... have a mental effect on its victim. Specially belonging to a weaker household, being a woman from a country where being submissive is valued, and being from a small town.

Not to mention ... she was forced into this marriage ... and have been witnessing consistent insult and dehumanizing treatment to women around her....

Its like the condition of a fearless and free goat when it is tied to a butchers bamboo... seeing the other goats being slaughtered systematically ... this ONCE UPON A TIME RESTLESS AND COURAGEOUS GOAT looses its courage and gives up internally ... just wanna sit and take it all ... the inner strength is being suffocated ...

BUT SHE MUST GATHER SOME POWER AND REPORT TO THE RIGHT PLACES...

wow ice, you're HERE at the pratigya forum, from bidaai forum...? nice. it seems, loads of bidaai folks are coming here, like you and me. how's everything in bidaai btw...?
anyways, going back to topic. yeah, totally agree with what you said dear. beautiful, BEAUTIFUL posts 👏👏👏 pratigya, has just seen so much unjust around her, and with no one to stop the thakurs' injustice, AT ALL, she i feel, is just slowly starting to give up...but she must gain some courage, and fight this. but HOW is the question...??? HOW WILL SHE DO THIS???
she certainly can't stop krishna physically, as he has already overpowered her many times. she has tried TELLING HIM TO STOP, even saying that she HATES him, but his abuse STILL continues...so the next step is, like you said ice, THE LAW.
but the thing is, the thakurs are too powerful. it has already been shown that thakur even has power over dirty politicians, and the police is basically like krishna's "chamcha". sab krishna ki ishare pe chalta hein...😲 i mean, kya nahin kiya pratigya and her family to STOP krishna from marrying her and harassing her. they tried going to the police, going to politicians, she even tried to move away from allahabad, but NOTHING worked!!!! 😔😔
so really, unless there's a miracle, there's gonna be no stopping krishna and the thakurs' atyachar. as for the women's shelter thing ice, i don't even know if those exist where pratigya lives...? even if they did, i don't think it would've helped out...sadly...

Hi Pricey ...
Haan yaar ... ajata hoon kabhi kabhaar ... Isee this show sometimes with my sis ... I live just beside her flat ... in India till sept. ... so I guess there is less to do for me ... my wife likes to spend time with my sis aswell.... till we move back to swed... its gonna be cool like this =D ...

Anyways ... I think a dose of SADHNA POWER is required in pratigya....
In any way ... coming back to the point ... THERE MUST BE SOME WAY in a free and democratic country where there is still some respect towards law.

Pratigya is educated ... and if education has a power, then she must use it...
There are organisations around her city ... Allahbad cannot be totally under the control of the Thakurs ...

There are Medias ... then the Saxena community people ... and then there should be sagstaans.... there must be...

Pratigya must show courage ... she must not be subdued....OTHERWISE WHAT DOES THIS SHOW WANNA PROVE?

wow, i thought you were a girl, and then i find out you're married, double wow. lol. but nice to finally talk to a guy for a change 😊 have a great time in india, with your remaining vacation-time there 😉 i'm from bangladesh btw, but i live in USA. always wanted to go to india though, and see taj mahal.

anyways. and "SADHNA POWER" yaar...? no, no, no...then it would've been even worse than pratigya, it would've been more like kesar (shakti's wife)!!! instead of "sadhna", how about "ragini". remember that episode where ragini got a WEAPON to stop that drunk from beating his wife, and she did that for a complete STRANGER. imagine what she would've done if it was actually done to HER.

and as for the rest of what you said...hmm...you're right. india, is after all, a democratic nation, with laws AGAINST abuse against women (or anyone). its not iran or afghanistan. but still, its not mumbai, india or delhi, india either; its ALLAHBAD. like i said, i'm from bangladesh, so i know EXACTLY what it must be like for her in allahbad. fighting for your rights, is certainly not as easy as it may be, in say, the USA or where you're from, sweden. especially when there's such a mindset of, "women should just take it". but she can do something, yeah, you're right...which i think, she will, eventually. slowly, but surely.

at this point, i think the show is just trying to show a harsh reality. eventually i think, they'll show prati becoming even stronger. but one has to understand, being "strong" and "fighting for your rights" is not so easy either. especially in an environment where prati is from.

Well ... the capital of Bangladesh is Dhaka right?

I heard Dhaka is decently developed by a friend I have ... and moreover, I have some garments business going in sweden and we source sometimes from Bangladesh.

Surprised to know that the situation of women is dire there aswell ...

However, its unfortunate that sometimes women themselves do not feel enough for women folks ... I am not saying that everyone should turn feminists (I dont admire feminists) ... but a decent feeling and sense of responsibility is required ...

Such kind of gross abuse of human-rights is not tolerable ... be it Indian, Bangladesh, or Swedish or any society ... you name it.... not acceptable!
