'I'm enjoying this new phase of my life'

She became a household name by becoming one of the favourite bahus in television industry and conquered hearts of many for her role of Kumkum. We are talking about none other than Juhi Parmar! This pretty actress was in the city to inaugurate SAB Ka Mela. Amidst signing autographs, posing for photographs and interacting with her fans she tells AT about her innings in television and life.

AHMEDABAD ROCKS

She was thrilled to come to Ahmedabad for the event as she says, "It is a very innovative concept that the channel has come up with and I had a great time coming here to Ahmedabad as I could interact with my fans, check out the entire Mela and have a fun time!" Going gaga about Amdavadis, Juhi says, "Amdavadis are very warm and loving people who are always full of life so it is always great coming to this city."

COMEDY HUES

Having rose to fame with her daily soap Kumkum'Ek Pyaara Sa Bandhan. she is currently seen in Yeh Chanda Kanoon Hai wherein she plays Chanda. Ask her how she enjoys her first comedy serial and she says, "It is altogether different from usual serials as drama based soaps involve a lot of emotions whereas a comedy serial is not as stressful because along with your scenes you're laughing and having fun. I'm working with a wonderful team and that makes the experience even livelier."

HUBBY AND ME

Juhi married model-actor Sachin Shroff almost a year back and is all praises for him, "I'm enjoying this new phase of my life. It is a lovely feeling to share the things be it going out for dinner or shopping or watching your favourite film with your beloved! And Sachin is especially understanding because he is part of the same profession."

REALITY FUNDAS

Juhi did two reality shows with Sachin and so how was the experience? "I thoroughly enjoyed Hans Baliye as we could learn a lot through out the show. Whereas,
Pati Patni Aur Woh was a bit disheartening because I was not able to carry a dual personality just because the camera was on'I can't be fake come what may and that's where thing went little wrong."

WEIGHTY ISSUES

Post marriage, Juhi put on a lot of weight and many of her fans were surely startled to observe that. It became the talk of the industry and on being quizzed about it she says, "Initially I felt it is marriage that's making me gain weight. I was disappointed to see myself putting on so much weight. It was because of a thyroid level disturbance which is common in most women after marriage, but I want to thank my hubby here as he supported me by saying that he likes me this way too! Now, I have undergone medication which is working well for me and people must have observed my weight loss too!" We definitely have and want to say ' way to go Juhi!

NEW INNINGS: Juhi Parmar
