Spring, the season of new love, a new outlook, a new beauty, a new inner strength leaving behind the cold and dark, wearing a veil of gold, green and orange, dressed up like a bride, the spring is here.
Love, a single term, but that which encompasses a myriad of shades of different emotions and feelings which once it visits you, can turn your whole world into a totally different one filled with a kind of beauty, peace, overwhelming joy and happiness.
And thus, in this season let us take a look at some of the first loves in telledom which may or may not have had a happy ending but when they did come, have brought with them the joy and astonishment that comes with first love and the complete sense of seeing the whole world in a whole different way. That which has the innocence of first love, the uncertainty and insecurity of walking on a path never walked before and then the sense of faith and rightness that comes along with it.
First love, that which can happen at any age, but the love which can be associated with spring is the one which has new beginnings, the freshness of youth and innocence and also having still that immaturity and joy and fun, of something which is still in the process of growth associated with it.
1. Neev and Prachi (Kayamat): There relationship was one which started in child hood and the deep friendship and trust and blind faith they had in each other, as the years passed, it transformed into the first blossom of love accompanied by the feelings of trust and faith which has always been in their relationship. Though destiny had other plans for them, their love will always be remembered for it's embodiment of purity and innocence of their first love.

Karan and Suman (Rehna Hai Tere Palkon Ki Chaov Mein): He was the charming, self confidant, happy go lucky, younger son from a rich family, who grew up all his life in the shelter of relations and a big family and she, an innocent orphan just out of collage with no experience of either love or relationships. They met and the first look and the first touch was enough for the first blush of instant attraction to flare between them and just as , after the first blush of spring, the colors get only more deeper and vivid, so did the love that between them. Then, time had brutally separated them from each other only to get him back to her now. Will their love hold strong and prove to be of the lasting kind to be a question whose answer only time shall tell.
3. Shashank and Prateeksha (Pyar Ka Bandhan): He was the flamboyant, handsome, devil may care, happy go lucky, only son coming from a rich family. She was the responsible, serious one, who cared just for duty, an orphan girl, separated from her family at a very young age and only lived for the purpose of meeting her family again. They met and at first, they could not stand each other even for a second. But, then with the passage of time, destiny brought its own plan to play on them. And thus came into being, a love so strong and true, that neither time nor turbulence nor trouble nor obstacles of any kind could shake the love, trust and faith that they had in each other. And, thus, their first love proved to be of the everlasting kind, in its genuineness, depth and strength and making their saga be as one with those of the fairy tales of the happily ever after.
4. Abheer and Leher (Yeh Pyar Na Hoga Kam): He was the "chichora" of the gully, happy go lucky and with not a serious thought in his head and then he saw Leher and then onwards life was never the same for him. The more he saw her the more he loved her and he was determined to get her love sooner than later and then his dream did come true and Leher fell as hard for him as he for her. They both came as a breath of fresh air into each other's life and then took on the hues of first love, and then took on more deeper colors and depths but now it is to be in destiny's hands as to which turn their love and lives shall take.
5. Karan and Abha (Yahan Mein Ghar Ghar Kheli): Since the moment he laid eyes on her, since then he had just one purpose in life and that was to search her out and win her love and to make her as his own. They met and met again. First they became friends, then best friends, only to realize that what they felt for each other can never be something as basic as friendship, and that it is something much, much more than that. And then started the saga of Gunjan and Samrat as their bond of friendship took on the colors of their first love containing in it all the colors of the spring.
7. Veer and Iccha (Uttaran): He was a Thakur and an Heir, handsome, well mannered and good hearted prince, and she, the daughter of a servant who grew up in the shelter of a thakur. They never had inkling that first love waited them both with open arms and that it was only a matter of time and when it happened, their world was never the same again. Now, it is up to destiny whether they will ever finally end up being together forever more or not.

Armaan and Ridhima (Dill Mill Gaye): He was the flamboyant, self confidant, all rounder, cool dude, while she was the epitome of the perfect present day girl, a combination of modern and traditional values blended in.
