gr8 post...
I joined the DS forum in the beginning, but haven't been very active...and I have watched every episode of DS, and I have to say, I too am disappointed...
I"m was disappointed with Bhavri, when she found out the truth and didn't address shaurya right away, but then, I could understand how she was in a state of shock...and she shouted after him @ the train station, but he didn't hear her...
but I'm really disappointed with the rest of the characters...
I think the most selfish character is anaadi...he married bhavri for selfish reasons...he needed a wife quick to take care of his family...he continued to be selfish when he asked maithli to play along as his wife when they first entered the house...and later, when he found bhavri, he didn't tell maithli that he found her, and he didn't tell bhavri that her best friend is with him...then he decides to send his wife to shaurya's house to sort things out ( I still can't understand why)....
I've been really disappointed in maithli since she found bhavri...bhavri was honest with her and told her everything, and she should have done the same...it is as simple as that...she waited too long watching and observing bhavri with shaurya...and then she left without a word and made assumptions about the two...and left bhavri in the mess, knwing that she is rabari in a rajput house...that was not right...
and when shaurya and her parents were making accusations at bhavri, she didn't defend her friend...all she was saying was that bhavri and shaurya love eachother...I mean, how could she openly announce that bhavri and shaurya have a physical relationship, without mentioning that bhavri had mistaken shaurya for her husband?...and that bhavri regrets it...and that she is just as a victim in this as they all are...and why didn't anaadi speak up that he sent her there to sort shauryas family problems?...
and shaurya disappointed me with his whole reaction...for an army officer who comes off as such a tough guy, his reaction was so wimpy...i understand the shock, but I expected him to be the logistic thinker...he should have told them that I was given bhavri's picture....he should have asked more questions, rather than assume that bhavri is some horrible woman who has been tricking him and betraying him...and then driving off like a maniac...
i don't knw where creatives are headed, but none of the characters are very appealing...none are respecting their marriage vows, or their friendship...except for maybe bhavri...

Lol. From the new promo that has been posted Maithli is going to decide to go as Anadi's wife, while again Bhavri is left to be Shaurya's widow if Shaurya is announced dead. Well, if people think Bhavri is selfish by going to sort out Shaurya's family problems, then they should now be calling Maithli selfish that she is going to go live in Anadi's house to solve his problems and live a life of a married woman while being a widow herself. Again Bhavri has never been selfish and never will be selfish through it all.

I so agree with telenovelle. In some way every person is selfish. I think it makes them more human that way. I don't think in real life any one can be a saint.

you are so right...even saints make mistakes. no one is perfect and we are selfish is many ways, but then it is a surivial tool as well. if we always think about others how can we look after ourselves and that is what everyone in this show is doing.... 😊 😊

Good points about the characters. Ya for an army man sharuya did have a very negative and violent response. the army teaches them to be calm and collect in dangerous situations or they can kill someone by mistake. they really have to think about their strategy...so what happened to shaurya??? loser.... in terms of telling everyone about consumating the marriage why does the entire world need to know this? bhavri should not have said anything. also mathlei is stupid for sharing it with the world. how stupid. anaadi should have told the truth from the beginning about meeting bhavri and she should have told the truth as well. as they say the truth will set you free. as for the wedding vows you mentioned how can they respect them when all of them are completely screwed up.... 😆 😛 😉
