WTH is in charge or team assignments and what logic have they followed in doing that? 😕😳
I sure would like to know....I want the kids alligned with right mentors so their training-talent improves, potential is realized and showcased...I made my post in TOP 16 topic by digitaltone...
I am lost at understanding some of the assingments...😕😲
Whoever is in charge should align mentors & contestants strenghs....And the potential for kids to be learning more forms of dancing to prove versatality than totally harming their chance by putting them in the wrong team...I am thinking outloud so decided to make topic...😃
What r ur thoughts?? Pls share...

I wished divyam to be in dharmesh's team..

but team was chosen by d skippers themselves as in jai's interview posted here..

but all in all..amrita got a strong team..khushboo,shivani and both d boyz are very strong dancers.. 👏

😕 ummm all mentors were chosen for the skills and versatility......what difference does it make which team a contestant goes in to? I mean if the kids are talented they will shine under any mentor.......😕 Unless you think that only some of the mentors are talented and others aren't.......😕...I mean if past success is any indiation D sir is the most talented of all the mentors there....He finished 2nd in DID whereas Jai finished 4th and Amrita finished lower and so did Vrushali and Mayuresh.....In terms of experience in teaching kids, D sir has been a dance teacher teaching kids longer then Jai has been teaching kids and longer then Vrushali or Mayuresh have been teaching kids....so both in terms of Dancing and teaching dance D sir has had more success so far then the other mentors.......So I don't think it matters which team a contestant goes in to frankly...if they have the talent they'll do well......😃

i personally think vaishnavi can improve her versatility by being in dharmesh's team by learning hip hop as she is already good in classical and contemprary..but dunno whether she will be able to carry it off..lets see

Di.. aligning the mentors and the contestants may be a difficult job..
For example.. we have Dharmesh -- Just imagine if there were kids who did ONLY hip-hop for the enitre show ?? Maybe that's the reason why they mix and match the contestants for each team like we have seen in season-2 which was a indeed quite a disaster.. 🤔
I have lost 95% of my hopes in Vaishnavi winning the title.. but, lets see what happens.. we sure cannot underestimate D's teaching skills.. 😳 😲

My concern is not only for Vaishnavi...There are few other assignments...I am also not questioning Dharmesh's skills at coaching...I have no clue how D or anyone else will turn out...My overall concern with kids...
I fail to understand the logic even with DID 2 where contestants skills & training were not properly assigned with Mentor's experience...
I am not singling any mentor out here for LM..
As DB as concern abt one contestant and as u mentioned abt Vaishnavi...I am afraid for her chances for winning with this...Lets see what happens...

Ankit ! The statistician in me is really 😭 to see the way you are comparing the mentors here.. The rankings of the subjects that you are comparing participated in 2 different seasons, had different genders etc...
If one follows your argument then Jai actually won Boogie Woogie several times and Amrita has been a college level head of the dance department.
Also, it is not surprising that you are supporting D-sir but how on earth do you know if @Dabulls thinks that some mentors are more talented than others? You certainly like to differ in your opinion from a lot of other people in this forum and that's OK but then you start imagining things, putting words in others mouths , generalize every body who lives in a certain part of the world which takes the focus away.
Let's keep a healthy discussion and discuss the issue at hand on facts and not perceptions and generalizations..

I have really high hopes for Jai and amrita's teams :)
both are amazingly versatile :)

I havent heard of mayuresh and vrushali as coaches...both are magnificient dancers..It was a real shame when these two got eliminated in DID1..as much as I am a salman fan, mayuresh was probably the more deserving guy🤔 IN my opinion

ALl of dharmesh's students int he auditions more or less excelled at hip hop themed dances..or atleast those are the only ones that stood out for me...I would be excited to see hip hop performances from his team..the rest I am not so sure

Nice question.. truely a million dollar one..
I think that all the contestants wouldn't get it fair, to suit their dancing skills with their own skipper.. 🤔 And, Mayuresh-Vrushali, Jai, Amrita are versatile.. so, for me think there's nothing to worry with the kids ending up here.. 😳 And I believe in Dharmesh's choreography..
DID2 dancers have been picked by the masters in much more a clever manner.. if you see Remo, he had Nikki(classical), Punit(contemporary), Meenu&Naresh(hip-hop), Shashank(ballet), Saajan(B-boyying).. Geeta had Binny(freestyle), Dharmesh(hip-hop), Kishore(hip-hop/freestyle), Teena(bollywood), Altaf(freestyle??), Shruti(hip-hop) and then TL had Shakti(contemporary), Amar(freestyle hip-hop), Parvez(hip-hop), Kruti(Indian classical), Vandana(??), Ameeth(Tollywod), Jack(hip-hop)
It was made sure to have different dancers mastering unique styles.. which I believe was done to avoid any sort of criticisms as in repeating same style etc. So, there's a logic I see..
I totally am against teaming up and all.. the teams should be shuffled every week, so that the mentors actually impart their own knowledge on dance to the dancers which increases their dancing skills and thereby increasing their versatility.. 🤔

TOtally agree angel...The way teams are assigned yes they can learn new dance but will compromise their own talent...When they are shuffled between mentors it is good challenge for not only for kids but mentors too...
