Hi everyone,
just thinking, now since shantanu has told everyone that dev is innocent, why is radhika even listening to him. In real life no one is that dumb. It is not like she signed a legal contract with him that she is going to listen to him😊 She can easily back out. She has many opportunities to tell her whole family the condition he put forward and they can all teach him a lesson together. It just so stupid how is still lying to her family after she what happened due to her lying the first time. What do you guys think. Please comment😊

yea I agree with you, I don't know why she is listening to him. He did what she wanted, he can't blackmail in her anyway, shy is she even bothering😕.
In today's episode she talks to Shantanu's in an aggressive tone, and how she will win over him. But why can't she just expose him in front of everyone now?? She doesn't need him.

Radhika fears that exposing the truth about Shantanu may mean shame being brought on Vaishali and her reputation suffering. Radhika knows something tragic happened 28 years ago involving Shantanu and Vaishali. She did a very wise thing by flipping Vaishali's question on her and instead asking Vaishali the questions. This is how the truth about what happened all those years ago and who Shantanu is will be revealed. If they showed Radhika brushing Shantanu off and then the family getting together and pushing him out, the story would not develop. Also, as much as we love RaDev and want them to weather this storm together, I think the story needs some tense moments to keep its steam. I too would like Radhika to confide in Dev and ask for his help, but right now she is in full, fierce RPtain mode and all she is thinking about is protecting her husband and family. I don't think her mind has yet processed the fact that she should clue Dev in on what's going on. Lets see how the CVs handle this. They have pleasantly surprised us in the past when we least expected, so lets keep our fingers crossed.

I think Radhika has given HER WORD to Shantanu. She cannot back out because Shantanu has fufilled his part of the bargain and it would be grossly inethical of Radhika not to fulfil her side of the bargain. It think it is just not a done thing, not right to renege on a bargain. I agree with Radhika in this aspect that she must fulfil her promise, otherwise she is not a person of integrity.
Having said that, I do not agree that Radhika decides to embark on this fulfilment of obligation on her own. I thought the past events would have taught her to be more upfront, especially to her husband. But sadly, she is acting high handed again. Doing things without discussing it with her husband. I can understand if her husband is a grossly hot tempered man who only wants things his way, but in this case Dev is a very understanding, very loving husband who has so much trust in his wife. Radhika should respect this quality of her husband, especially in his trust of her. She should have been upfront with her husband, after he has been vindicated (not before, because, he may likely rather suffer than to go along with Shantanu). After Dev had been vindicated, Radhika should have told him the condition that Shantanu had agreed to support Dev. She should have shared her problems with her husband who had promised to take care of her and to share her problems.
This is the Radhika i don't quite like - i did not like how she ignored everyone's plea as to why Shantanu was brought. I think the family deserved an explanation before he came and not present him, during a very religious ceremony, which she should have attended to in its entirety. She could always have gone to fetch Shantanu after the ceremony. After the ceremonyh she could have given a short explanation to prepare the family for Shantanu's appearance : eg., "Dev is vindicated, his honour and the purohit's honour was returned due to the support given by Shantanu. Shantanu and Vikram did not lie but was honest but in order for them to state it in front of all i had to make a deal with them. I therefore appeal to you to please understand to accept what i am going to do next on trust. ONe day i will be able to tell you more but till then, please understand and accept." some thing like that. But nooooooo, she ups and leaves the religious ceremony and then brings this distasteful character right smack in themiddle of the ceremony to the shock and dismay of the family. Wrong Radhika Wrong!!
I don't know, maybe most will not agree with me but i really do not condone hiding things.

~Considering the circumstances, I didn't have too much of a problem with Radhika bringing Shantanu to PB. Reasons being:

1) That was the bargain they struck and she cannot back out after Shantanu fulfilled his side of the bargain. That is who she is.

2) If Radhika has indeed figured out something about the relationship between Shantanu and the Purohits then by bringing him to PB maybe she can create an opportunity to bring out the secret and bridge the distance between Shantanu and the family.

~Just because Dev is her husband, I don't think Radhika should divulge all her doubts about Shantanu/Vaishali to Dev. If Shantanu does indeed turn out to be Vaishali's son, then that secret should be told by Vaishali to both her sons Vivek and Dev and it is not Radhika's place to do so. None of us know how Dev and Vivek will react if they find out that they have another brother they knew nothing about all these years.

~Could Radhika have prepared the family especially Dev about Shantanu's arrival before bringing him to PB? Yes, she could have but if she had told everyone her reason for bringing Shantanu was only because of her promise to him then nobody even Dev would have allowed her to bring Shantanu home. They would have told her that her promise doesn't mean a thing especially when made to a character such as Shantanu's. If she had gone and brought him home in spite of that then she would have been in a worse situation.

~Could Radhika have waited until the puja was done to bring Shantanu home? Yes, that she could have!!

Totally agree with your points angake as to why Radhika could not tell the family regarding chikna especially to her husband.
I think Rahika could not tell Dev because he may misunderstand her and think she is trying to slander his mum's reputation and a son would not be able to digest that however much he loves his wife.
