It was because Krishna forced Pratigya into compiling with his wishes, why Adarsh married Komal. I believe the only person who had a choice in these two marriages was Krishna. And Pratigya is not treated well by Krishna. Did you not see today's episode? He has forbidden her to think even. How is that treating her well? She can't do anything for herself in that house (no phone, can't cook, can't talk, can't think). 🤢🤢 Komal did get pulled into that marriage without giving it her consent, but that doesn't give her the OK to do what she does in that house. She is a spoiled brat, who is used to getting whatever she wants. She didn't even appreciate the gift he got her because he also got gifts for his mom and sister. How immature can she get? Before someone plays the upbringing card, I just want to say that more than half the things she does in the Saxena house have nothing to do with the way she has been brought up. Dadi and Arushi are sometimes rude to her, but it is a two-way street. She can't get respect if she doesn't respect them. As for Arushi, like how Komal thinks about her brother, she too is thinking about her sister. The Singh house is no haven afterall.
