Why is Angad jealous?

Hi darlings,

I think the reason for Angad's almost violent jealousy is not just the deadly combination of irritation and fascination that he has with Kripa....I think in his subconscious he still has Kripa's confession of having loved him ringing.Somewhere, he has a feeling of possession over his darling bete noire and that's majorly from where his envy stems. What do you people think?

i was about to post a similar message... actually i think... that the reasons for angad's jealousy are dual... and they are contradictory... it's quite a juxtaposition... but if you look at it carefully... it is quite well justified!

REASON 1: he is developing some sort of attraction towards kripa... just as mannan said... he is subconciously crossing the thin line dividing hatred and intense love...

REASON 2: he cannot bear to see kripa happy... this is not a reason for his jealousy... it is the cause of the strange behaviour he exhibits when kripa is with prithvi...

nits... i believe that a part of him... a major part actually... still HATES kripa... DETESTS her... and whenever kripa is with prithvi... she is really happy... carefree and generally JOYOUS... having fun... you know?

but when angad catches them doing that... he just feels even more angry that sumbody he knows well is actually helping out the one girl whose life he wants to make hell! he is taking SOOOO much trouble to make each day of Kripa's life living hell... and here comes prithvi... in whose company kripa is totally free and forgets her worries!

so that's my logic!

Alright Sugar,now i got it. Yeah, Angad hates her because she snubs him 24x7 and he still hasn't forgotten that stinging slap...ouch!

well i think da reason behind the jeolousy is dat he is attracted to kirpa and doesnt realize it.......he is kind of restless and confused.....wot say

maybe in his heart he still hates kirpa 4 slapping him ( dat was abrilliant scene) and then sugar i agree wid u

Don't kill me Prithvians but I prefer Mannan...something very naturally affable about him. A nice jawline as well, even though Angad's has got the hottest one!

I completely agree with niticia.

As for hating Kripa because she slapped him, I think he is using it as an excuse for hiding his intense attraction for Kripa from himself and others, especially since she keeps showing him his negative side, which is in part what attracts him to her .

So far everyone has who has claimed to have loved Angad has wanted something from him, including his family, or has been attracted to him because of his star status and has agreeded with everything he says or does.

Kripa is the only one who has stood up to him and shined a mirror on his flaws. He unconsiously wants someone to love, accept, and depend upon Angad the "person" inspite of his flaws, and therefore he acts like jerk (dances roughly with Kripa and drops her but expects her to depend upon him for getting up, leaving her in the middle of the road because she had indicated she did not want to take a ride from him, and then having her admit dependency on him, and sit back quitely in his car, etc.)..

Hey, while we love Angad because of Iqbal doing a good job of performing the character's part, I think we also need to recognize all the other people who are doing a great job bringing out the character .. (dialog writer, director, & all the supporting actors and cast)...👏👏👏

Though there are couple of things I find werid:

- Kripa's family not being present at the concert as they are close family.. it would have been interesting to see how Iqbal and Prithvi act with the family, and the family's reaction to both of them 😊

- Kripa still hanging around the outhouse, rather than moving out either by getting a place at the hostel with her friend, or somewhere else.. If Kripa moved out to a hostel, this is where I would expect Iqbal to be climbing the walls to see her (there was a previously a discussion on conjuring where would Iqbal be climbing the walls to see Kripa .....).
