Maa jo deti hai hume Janm
Kahi hum Uski Maut ki vajah na bane

Today is mother's day. We give our mothers gift and take her out to eat. But what is most important is that we remember the things she does for us and not hurt her ever in anyway. That will be the greatest gift of all.

Here I am recollecting a few lines I have read before:

When I came Home getting all wet in the rains,

everyone had some or the other advise to give me,

Someone told couldn't you wait for sometime till the rains stopped,

Now if you get fever and cold who will be responsible,

If your new shoes get wet who will buy a new pair,

If your clothes and books get wet who will replace them,

Mom too shouted, not at me but the rains...couldn't you wait for sometime till my child came home safely 😭

That is my MOM.......👍🏼

Happy Mothers Day to all the members of IF specially the mom s.

I have collected this poem from Internet.

"Happy Mother's Day" means more

Than have a happy day.

Within those words lie lots of things

We never get to say.

It means I love you first of all,

Then thanks for all you do.

It means you mean a lot to me,

And that I honor you.

But most of all, I guess it means

That I am thinking of

Dear friends, today I want to share a real story with you. During our liberation war a mother went to meet her only son, who was a freedom fighter, in the prison. Actually the son was arrested by the Pakistani army (I don't want to hurt anyone, it's just a real story).Then her son told her that he wants to eat rice. Next day the mother went to meet her son cooking rice but can't meet him. Even she can't meet her son ever and he died in the war. After that day this mother never ate rice in her life although rice is our main food. Even she slept in the floor as she saw her son can't sleep in the bed in the prison. She lives 14 years after our liberation war and never took rice in her life. She was the Daughter-in-law of a richest family here but leaves her husbands house when he married second time and never met with her hubby after that. In her last days she lived in a slum but never begged help from anyone.

One of our writers wrote a novel based on this and I read it 3 weeks ago and still 😭. Today I thought that I should share it with you. That's why I post it.
