Suhana's and KK's conversation: Suhana telling her Dad that he's always given her the best and why was her marriage an exception? KK trying to reassure her that he's not done anything wrong and that Ishaan is indeed a nice guy. Suhana crying infront of her Dad and telling him that she'll stay with Ishaan, the guy he's chosen for her, but will never be happy with him. KK's heart broken state.
Ishaan and Sanjana: Both wondering what is going on in the room. Sanju becoming increasingly uncomfortable. When KK comes out crying, Sanju goes to console him, but he waves her away. Sanju comes back defeated, refuses to go into Suhana's room, but hangs out with Ishaan instead. Ishaan trying to analyze the situation and fill in the awkward silence with his kind words. Sanju and Ishaan's great camaraderie.
Suhana coming out of her room and smiling at a confused Ishaan and Sanju as if nothing has happened.
Elesh and Disha's conversation regarding his joblessness.
Alok, Badi Maa and Radha Bua's conversation regarding an AC in Ishaan's room.
I just loved the subtlety of emotions they manage to show without the weird camera angles, dhan tan na type music and "kutte kaminey, mein tera khoon pe jaaoonga" type dialogues.
In today's episode, I could empathize with each and every character, including Suhana. Her dialogues were so real and hard hitting, that she didn't sound like a recalcitrant child for once. Instead she sounded like a little girl asking for justice. KK's dilemma on whether he did the right thing by getting his daughter married off to a middle class household. Sanju caught in between her sister, dad, and jeeju. Ishaan - completely aware of the situation at hand, and yet trying to behave as politically correct as he can. Badi Maa not buying into the AC argument. Radha Bua convincing her that it will ultimately contribute to Ishaan's happiness and finally Badi Maa giving in. Such a straight forward way to capture the minor nuances!
Everyone is a victim of circumstance, there are no scheming vamps or kitchen politics marring the beauty of this simple, yet heart rendering serial. Is it a wonder that I am so TOTALLY hooked on?
