Round 2: Madhushree

Hmm. I really love her voice and I think its really sweet. She has that "mitas" in her voice. I could really feel the pain and sadness of this song. I could really connect with it too. But at some places I lost the feel and connection with the singing. There was a lot of soul to the song, but knowing that Madhushree ji has song so many better and beautiful songs, once again I can't give a high rating for this song. Some places I felt she went more high pitched than necessarily. Good part is that both Udit ji and Madhushree ji did a great job. They both complimented each other and no one overshadowed the other. That's what is needed between the male and female singer.

So taking everything into consideration I'd give a raw score of 7!

I am surprised to witness 2,3 marks given in this round ..yet there is only one post 😕...If somebody has given 2 ...he/she should explain why she./he did so....These r established singers ...people who are giving below average marks ...they should give explanation as to why...so that we would know where we r going wrong 😊....

Coming to the song...very soft soothing song..Madhushree's voice sounds good...she was on sur ...I'll give her a.....7

Well, after listening to it, I am just shocked and beginning to have mercy on people who voted this 2 or 3..its their opinion, so sar aankhon par..😭

Anyways, yet another "my kind" of songs. Melodious, simple score and equally good, absolutely clean voices of both Sujata Bhattarcharya and Udit Narayan. Sujata's voice sounds just too good and her talent is used to the fullest in this track.
While this track leaves very little scope for voice modulation, its her correct mid-to high tone pitching that adds soul to the track.
She deserves much better than the 8 marks I gave it to her.

Hhhmmmmm...Haven't heard this track before. Let's see how it goes…

The expression in the singing comes in parts. Also, The sound shrieks in parts. It was not flawless, there is strain in the voice as if a lot of effort is being made, especially in the higher notes. The middle notes are fine and done nicely.

Madhushree has a nice voice quality. However, in the line "Hum Saath Hain", which comes in the later middle part of the song, she becomes breathless. It is a sweet melodic track, but I feel more of the lime-light is taken by the male singers by their flawless singing. It was a good attempt. However, it lacked the 'wow' factor which forces one to give it more marks. Apologies to the fans. It is strictly my opinion regarding the song.

The singing here is not average but above average, yet not more than that. I have heard much better songs from Madhushree. Also, there is not much difficulty here, so the extra mark cannot be granted. To conclude my evalutaion, for this singing, I would like to give a 6 out of 10.

Wow, this was a very good song. The melody was buliding up as the song progressed! Madhushree was very good in the fluctuations and transitions, and put empahsis when she had to. But I think she sounded to much like Alka Yagnik! All in all, I give her a 9!

Good singing by Madhushree!

She really has nice voice quality. As someone said, it's kind of similar to Alka Yagnik, which is a big compliment. I think overall she did a good job singing, but as someone999 said, there weren't too many difficult portions. The main lines are a little harder than they look, but they still aren't that difficult. Either way, she pulled that off well.

On top of that, she had really good feel in her singing, that's very important in a song like this. And she pulled that off very well. So good job done there. Also, I think her high pitches could've gone better, her voice really thinned, but since she sang with Udit on them, he kind of covered it well.


Overall, good job singing, and excellent feel added. That deserves points!
