This season has the right amount of entertainment and enthusiasm, which seemed to have been missing from the last two seasons. The quick-witted judges with their tongue-in-cheek replies never let the audiences get bored. Agreed some of the performances are, to put it politely, weird but it's too much fun too.
And even though the hosts Prajakta Shukre and former Indian Idol Abhijit Sawant are not as impressive as the earlier hosts, what is good about the show is that it focuses only on the singing talent which is its USP.
The overall packaging of the show is very entertaining and works wonders for the show's popularity.
If you don't want to miss out on some real good entertainment, then tune in to Indian Idol 5 from Monday to Friday at 9 pm only on Sony.
