laali's family finding out about the baby

do you think laali's family will find out about her preggie state?
how will they? maybe that lady in the jail will tell them about the baby.
it is important for them to know.....
we never see them at all anymore.

I think her mom wud be over the Moon about it, her Dad wud be proud. Her siblings would be so happy! She'll be having her very own Munna or little beloved boy.

But they will be most proud to learn that she did not have any intimate contact with Shekhar before marriage and maintained her modesty.

Shekhar sure was a gentleman in those days, would not touch her until he married her...but that made him a bigamist, at least here in the US.

He'd be wearing 2 wedding rings on his left hand...(-;

Laali shud find some way to send word to them about all that has happened in her life...they'd be shocked....

I just hope she is treated with dignity from now on.

I'd like to see Queen Laali or Princess Laali, not dishrag Laali, to be used, abused, pushed to the ground by men twice her size...

Legally shekhar is still married to siddy. he is not legally divorced. his marriage to laali is not legal at all. however maybe in the city he comes from it is acceptable to be married to two women...not sure. he really loved siddy at first and she turned out to be a loser. so then he fell for laali even though he hated her. maybe shekhar will tell laali's family or take her home to tell them. that would be nice. they should tell her parents and family... 😆 😆

I liked the scenes with Laali and her folks. Unfortunately the knowledge that they sold her for money and never told her would make her not want to go back or share the news either of her former wedding or her pregnancy. I think the trust factor is gone. Plus she would not want to run into Balli the guy who brought her to the haveli.

She has no place to go other than the haveli. Though I'm sure she misses her parents but especially her siblings who were not aware of the fact that her mother sold Laali. Shekhar was the closest thing she had to a family now that's gone too. Though in the May 3rd episode we saw a different Shekhar after she told him about the pregnancy. They were actually working together to find his mother.

Shekhar definitely committed bigamy in marrying Laali though in a small Indian village it might be considered a common practice. Maybe that's why he married Laali in Nepal that and the fact that he was trying to escape from Ranvijay and his men maybe another reason to go to Nepal.

He should have made clear when he came back that Sid was no longer his wife. I always thought it interesting that he never yanked off Sid's mangalsutra or rubbed of her bindi while he did so to Laali in a most brutal and shocking way.

That scene with the rubbing off of the Sindoor and the ripping off of the Mangal sutra is the worst thing that can happen to a Hindu, devout woman...it feels like a death inside, and he did it in front of the whole family...

He didn't even have all the facts.

Part of Laali's heart must have been broken that day, though she's a strong woman and will get through it.

I just hope that when he tries to come back she won't take him back too soon. He must understand what he did. It all takes time.

I know his sis died, but he knew Laali pretty well and more closely than anyone in the family. He'd know she'd never hurt, leave alone kill, anyone he cared for.

He's not even her husband anymore according to him.

His redemption should come slowly, gradually and he must beg for forgiveness not only for the emotional abuse he heaped on Laali but the physical too.

The pushing and shoving and gun pointing to her forehead shows that there is a bit of Loha in him, that part has to be completely annihilated before he can be called a good father or even a good human being.

😭 😭 You are right about not pulling of the mangalsutra and wiping the bindi off siddy. he never acted that badly with her despite the fact she was not nice to him. talk about double standard. is it because she is from a better caste than laali or what??? even though he hated siddy he did not treat her as badly as he did laali. ugh.... since shekhar got married in nepal maybe double marriages are allowed. we don't know if he registered the marriage so it could be legal. what could be the legal status of this marriage then? i would like to know. hopefully he is not doing things illegally. of course laali would not know anything about this... 😉 😉 comments...

😃 she can find another place to go if shekhar helps her. he has the money to do so. she should buy her some nice house near the beach or somewhere nice in nepal...that would be cool. what happened to that property he got from his grandpa??? he could build something there...he has the money to do many things...first he should hire some bodyguards for laali so they are with her 24/7..she needs its... 😉 😉

yea I think her family should definitely make a come back, really want to see them back. I just wonder how the news of laali's pregnancy will reach them, laali will somehow need to reach her village.

if they had a phone she could call them, but they don't. maybe a neighbor has a phone and she could get a message to them. maybe if the lady in the prision who helped her got out and was from teh same village can tell her parents. shekhar could also go and tell them. it is important for laali to have her mother around in this time of need....
