*The Magic of Marriage*

Jaadoo chha chuka hai hum sab ke dilon pe....hamare soch vichaaron par, hamare kaam par, hamare zubaan par....yeh jaadoo ki chhadi ham sab ko chhuke hume pagal kar ke gayi hai...par yeh Jaadoo ki Chhadi hai kiske haath mein?

I think we all know the answer to that, don't we?? It's MayUr for sure - and I'm not saying anything new by saying that - am I? After making my 500th post on the dreams and opportunities journey that MayUr are on, and after replying to endless topics on how MayUr are rocking the show, I can't resist the temptation to open yet another one myself! 😳

I have a confession to make, though...

When Mayank-Nupur marriage happened, I wasn't very keen on it at all...of course, it was a must for Nupur, because of her family, and Mayank was not the least bit hesitant to do it for her - but I thought that's it, we'll never get any good MayUr scenes anymore, only the fights of a married couple will be shown, Nupur will be the typical doubtful wife, and Mayank - Nupur will drift away - in simple words, i thought that's it, the end of the MayUr magic, now it's all down the drain....G-O-N-E

But can I say, in fact, that through the last couple of Episodes, I am feeling really bad for thinking that way! I don't know what to tag Mr and Mrs Mayank Sharma - are they the perfect pair, the ravishing jodi, the ideal husband-wife or just eternal soulmates....?

I don't where to go from here....there's so much in my head I would love to cover, but guess what - I can't wirte it all!

So maybe I'll pick up on something different to what I have done previously, so as to not bore you all!

How both characters have grown -

Nupur - "pre-Mayank" character description:

Outgoing, drama-queen, loves exaggerating everything, and of course is very filmi. Her ultimate dream was to act in movies, and her ideal hero - Raj of DDLJ

The growth Nupur's character has undergone through meeting Mayank, and marrying him is just non-measureable in terms of how much....we can almost say she has taken a u-turn for a good cause though!

And when we talk about Nupur and Raj of DDLJ - then it's only one dialogue that hits me straight in the heart....and the end of the play during Mayur's confession, Nupur had said something to the effect that "Maine hamesha Raj ko hi apne sapno ke rajkumar maana hai - lekin Mayank toh Raj ke jaisa bilcul bhi nahi hai. Jab main iske baarein me sochti hoon tab mujhe yeh ehsaas hota hai ki us ekk akdu se nazar ke liye, main apne Raj ko bhi bhula sakti hoon..." For some reason, that dialogue has stuck to me, and I seem to remember it every time I see Nupur on screen!

Nupur has matured so much through the bond of marriage - she has realised her responsibilities and herself so much more than she ever ever has! And Mayank has helped her do that through each and every problem of hers - he has what you call stuck by her side through thick and thin...

Mayank - "pre-Nupur" character description:

Quiet, studious, always in the library and very career and education focussed. Pretty serious about life, and always number 1, BUT all the same, very handsome - not your typical square chashma types!...😆

Now this guy is really changed....but he is on the path of self-discovery yet again! Ab woh din kahaan jab woh library mein jaake BOOK padhta hai....now he only does romance with Nupur there....!!

On a more serious note, Nupur has sort of made Mayank realise that maybe, maybe books and education isn't everything!! If Mayank would have had it his way (before) then he probably wouldn't even have married - or given in to marry someone who his Ma thought was right (Nupur in this case :P) but even if his Ma had chosen Nupur for him, he never would have gone through the "discovery" of what falling in love is like...

Mayank has always cared for Nupur, been there for her no matter what, wanted her dreams to come true and all, but marriage has really strengthened him even more..even if he wasn't really in favour as of him and nupur getting married so soon...so probably he even has no idea as such as to how and how much it has really changed him!

Arjun and Rati - Just love the way they portray Mayank and Nupur - PROUD to be an ArTi fan..

And Mayank and Nupur together?

I really don't know any more - they are just what we can call indescribable.....I'm really out of words for this, so I am going to keep it to "Soulmates in Matrimony"

Agree with you from word to word...well not really, koz i was happy when Mayur got married...it was official!!! and i didnt want them to face any more seperation...

But in the end all of the credit goes to....*drum rolling*...ARJUN AND RATI....love you two for playing MAYUR...you're the best!!!

👍🏼God ...aish u really left me speechless....agree with each word u said i too personally didn't like the idea of marriage that time but watching mayur nowadays post marriage i should gracefully accept that i was the biggest fool 😳and never thought i would say this but post marriage mayur if not better but surely equally charming and mesmerizing......😍.😍

Nupur is so much more responisble, understanding, well caring and loving she has always been...and mayank he has gone sea size change he has always been responsible but the power of love was unknown to him and now he doesnt only know its power but knows that how emply his life would have been without nupurs love and support ....

Well coming to marriage, when two beautiful people meet, they create wonders by their great understanding, ups & downs, love, care, sacrifice - all together called a beautiful "Matrimony" in which Mayank & Nupur are tied for life!

Love Arjun-Rati, never seen better actors than them, with every scene of theirs, my love & respect for them increases all the more for them ! 🤗

special mention to the confession scene ya must say we have similar choice that nupurs lines are so stuck in my head too....the best mjht dialogue for me......its so beautiful that they both want to be perfect for each other and want to change for better and yet dont want the other to change....nupur luves him for what he is...the straight forward pure hearted guy and mayank luves that strong from outside but very delicate from inside ...his bubby nupur
