Tanisha
Tanisha inaugurated fashion store Babylicious in Tardeo yesterday. The exclusive fashion boutique for women run by Gauri Daswani and Anisha Khanna, is now officially open.

And marking the opening of the small and sleek store was Bollywood actress Tanisha Mukerji, who turned out to be quite a traffic stopper — what with cops coming in to clear away her fans from the busy roads of Tardeo! Tanisha, who arrived more than an hour late, was dressed in a pink Sajana Ibrahim outfit done of the designers stocked at the store.

"The outfits available here are young and wearable. Being seen in any of them is bound to make a style statement," said Tanisha. "The fact that both Gauri and Anisha have chosen each outfit or product on display is what sets this store apart from the others."

Also seen shopping at the store were Meheka Mirpuri and Kahkashan Patel.

Reemma Sen's dotty problem

Reemma Sen
Actress Reemma Sen who debuted with Fardeen Khan will now be seen in Malamal Weekly with Riteish Deshmukh. In the film, the actress is playing a village belle.

Her biggest problem in the film? Wearing bindis, like a true blue gaon ki chori.

The actress never wears bindis off-screen but the role demanded, so she had no choice.

"Although I secretly hate wearing bindis I had to wear them in this movie," she complains. Uff... the problems that some people have.

John v/s Tom

John Abraham

Those who have seen the Tom Cruise — Jamie Foxx thriller Collateral may wonder if the film has given inspiration to our John Abraham — Nana Patekar film Taxi No 9211.

However after checking out the plot of Ramesh Sippy's film releasing this week, the only similarities one can draw are between the use of a taxi and the driver playing important roles in the story.

While Collateral was a tight action drama, 9211 seems to have elements of comedy, romance and all the necessary masala of a Bollywood flick.

As John says, "Taxi No 9211 is a two-hour long, nice, sensible, humorous film and I am very excited about it. My friends who watched a trial recently loved the film."

God's her witness

Dingy has lost oodles of weight in the last couple of months and looks slim, gorgeous and stylish whenever we have glimpsed her at recent events.

So when we cornered her about her losing weight ki raaz she smiled and told us in her usual forthright manner, "Thanks for the compliment.

But I am still fat! And if you say I look good then I think I just feel good from within and maybe that comes across. God and my treadmill be thanked!"

Blind man wins KYZ

Manoj Bajpai and TSS Krishnan

TSS Krishnan is from Jagdalpur, Chattisgarh. He lost his eyesight in 1997 following an accident.

Ever since then, according to him, the call from KYZ was the most pleasant surprise for him. He works as the principal advisor in a trust for blind people and won 1.5 Lakhs on a recent episode of Kam Ya Zyada.

The episode will be telecast next week. He plans to spend the money by giving a portion to the trust and taking his family to the North East with the rest.
