Oh man... I don't have the guts to watch this. Because I did see how a real postmortem is done before, although they were only pics, I seriously freaked. So no way I'm watching the video.... But yeah real postmortems are dirty business. That's why family members often refuse to send the body for postmortem.

They show nice filtered, polished versions in CID and yet we find it disgusting.... 🤢

Devasri ... actually this is wat actually happens in a real forensic department.....😭😭😭...
but in cid it is totally different atmosphere... yesterday i think they just showed a piece of sponge or some material like that with colored red solution on it.. 😆😆...
but in truth blood stops circulating at the moment wen a person dies/ or wen heart stops it's functioning.. do u know something if a dead body after some hours is cut u will not find blood in the heart bcz wen a person dies all the blood starts draining to the lowest point ie.. lower parts of the body ... i mean if the body is on back it gets drained in back of arms or legs.. if it is in a standing position then in heels.. the whole body turns pale and aftr some hrs if we cut the body and look at parts they look in pale yellow or cream color ..but not in bleeding red color heart as yesterday dr salunkhe holding it.. i felt it is something unrealistic.😕. .. by the way my sister is a doctor ... i came to know abt all this frm her 😊

one morething if the forensic dept in cid looks as it is in video then i think no one will dare to flirt or crack jokes in front of a dead body...😆😉(no offense meant..😲)

but it i wud like to appreciate b.p singh for turning such a darkest situation and turn it into nice comedy..

😆

I'm an engineering student too Devashri and yeah I cant bear watching any kinda gore either. But, my best friend is a medical student and ever since she joined medical college she keeps telling me about all the horrible cases they get to see in the hospital and how they have to dissect body parts and stuff 🤢 Even she is that sensitive types and she used to feel nauseatic at the sight of dead bodies. But now she's totally used to it. Even I used to freak just listening to her in the starting, but now I got used to it eventually... I think medicine people tend to get used to such stuff whether or not they are in the forensic department.

And because CID is so clean, I can watch it. I tried watching CSI once and "Oh god!", the dead bodies and the wounds were soo realistic, I swore never to watch it again.

Leave the dissection of parts....my dad met with an accident a few years back and when I went to see him at the hospital, I fainted. 😭 I thought it was because it was my own dad.
Then one of my friends also met with an accident and it wasn't too bad...just an operation on his elbow and he was lying unconscious with the bandage and stuff. I felt nauseous and had to sneak out of his room for some time.
I am a bit too sensitive to the hospital atmosphere and the smell of disinfectants I am trying hard to overcome that.
The scene of Salunkhe holding a heart or stomach is absolutely unbearable to me.

Yeah I agree it was unbearable. You know, when I was in school, once they took us to this science exhibition being conducted by some medical students... at one of the stalls, they were explaining the working of a heart. When we went into the stall, this girl took out something from under the desk and started showing it to us. We freaked when we realized what that was. It was an actual preserved heart. She was holding it in her hand just like Salunkhe, except that it wasnt bloody or anything, it was grayish. And we freaked out even more when she actually opened it from the middle and started showing us the four chambers in a heart! Oh God, worst memory ever! But one thing is, I can never forget how a heart functions(or rather how it looks) for the rest of my life...
