Tabu is very beautiful! At least I think so! Plus a wonderful actress! Shes a rare combination! Konkona is dark-skinned but attractive in her own way, and shes such a brilliant actress you dont even notice her looks! 😃 She can carry any role, any movie!

But these TV actresses we are talking about dont have that charisma or screen presence to carry a show just on the basis of acting....I think Neha has that charisma....she acted in several movies down south which gave her that special screen presence rarely found in other TV actresses.
Thats why she could carry Maayka for 2 years even though it was completely dragging at many points. Shes perfect in looks and acting plus charisma!

I have totally stopped watching Hindi soaps. And it isn't because of 'no-good-looking-heroines' or the likes. I simply can't digest all the crap that the T.V. shove down our throat. And it's unimaginable how I used to watch all these even a couple of years back.

Anyhow, coming back to the topic at hand - why is it that we always want a beautiful heroines/actress to entertain ourselves? What about good-looking men? Ain't it sexist to accept below-average-looking actors onscreen but not actresses? Are women only there to entertain us with their face/body?

Maybe it's not sexist, but just a traditional mindset. But why is it, and why does it still not get changed?

Starting from Ronit Roy (Well, I think hes a major HUNK! 😳) to Rajeev, to Eijaz, to Iqbal, to Chetan Hansraj,(Yeah hes hunky too) Chaitanya, Gurpreet, Karan (KSG), Karan Wahi (cute hunk), Gaurav Khanna, ...OH GOD! the list just goes on and on!
In fact, comparatively there are fewer good-looking TV actresses than actors. Thats why this post makes sense!
Dont you see, Indian TV viewers are mainly female, young, old and middle-aged... 😆 Thats why there are more handsome hunks in TV serials than beautiful heroines! 😉 😆
We all need eye-candy, whether male or female, so please dont make this a sexist issue! 😆
