Zee creeps up on STAR Plus

Zee TV closed in on leader STAR Plus in week 17 with 284 GRPs (TAM, HSM, CS 4+), just 14 GRPs behind STAR Plus at 298 GRPs.
Colors made the lead pack crowded with 276 GRPs.

Sony was at 146 GRPs, Imagine at 97 and SAB TV at 74 GRPs.

The next week should see more volatility, given the end of IPL season 3 and the rash of new shows on almost all the GECs.

Changes from Last week

Star 317 - down by 19

Zee TV 268 - up by 16

Colors 268 - up by 8

Was expecting more with DID Finale, but then we have to keep in mind there was no DID on saturday, so zee didn't get the 15 or so grp's it gets with that episode.

I hope next week it's close to 284 as well⭐️.

Looks like star has run out of it's movies at last😆.

I already predicted this yesterday😆...So finally Star plus is coming down😛..Ya their quota of new hindi movies is now over..superstars ka jalwaa too is over..and their top shows r not showing any jalwaa anymore😆..so finally its coming down😆

Zee was expected to do well because of weekend spls and of course DID finale👏

Colors going up is a bit surprising becuase it had no real spls on saturdays nor any reality show finals nor any movies...also balika vadhu is not doing too well...So it will b interesting to see the top 10 shows this week🤔

And Gur u saw today's Amap....Star puls is really struggling😆...Only one show made it to top 10 and rest all r from colors and Zee😆😆...Lets see if TAM provides a different picture again😆

And u know why GRPs of Zee and Colors went up...the main reason is last week there were only three IPL matches..two semifinals and one final...so rest of the days got good ratings😉😛...Thats why its more shocking to see star plus going down😲😕

I really hope we see the same things in TAM in the week after this, but I doubt.

Colors went up, because it's was below average last week, it's sort of normal now, so I guess some shows must have picked up.

zee would have gone more higher had the finale not been on friday, because those saturday specials made them loose trp's, had they been aired on friday like they normally do, they would have got the regular trp's that they get.
and the finale was on sunday so that doesn't count, so we just had two IPL days??😕

Star had been getting all those trp's from the big movie it was airing every week. Though in prime time, 7 to 11 I think both zee and colors must be ahead as star get's around 20-25 grps from it's afternoon slot as well

Gur...Zee did the finale on Friday because saturday there was an IPL match for the 3rd and 4th place play off..thats why they din't take any chance and gave the finale on friday...

Star's afternoon slot is quite strong..and u r right..they r getting half of the ratings from those weekend movies and the afternoon slot shows😡

But this week it will b interesting to see if star plus goes down because colors and zee r dominating Amap ratings whereas Star has got hardly any shows there...I know TAM might b different but kuch toh phark padega😕😆...Bidaai and Yeh rishta ratings hv drastically gone down every week..so Zee and colors this week can give a tough competition to star😉

yea zee really as stuck, if they had delayed it by a week then it would loose out on lis master as CDD would have started it first😆
man, these channel officials do have a a lot of headache work, i feel sorry for them😆

yea I really want to know how amap collects it's data. because it hardly matches with TAM. these advertisers should look at amap too😡😆

because look at this, star has a better share than 😕 despite having one show.
and in the reach zee shows are always in double digts while star and colors shows never make it to that level.

but yes bidaai and yeh rishta are not going to reach the levels they were at before IPL, especially with their storylines currently😆
while colos and zee's old and new shows have picked up pace, so it would be interesting to see the top 100 chart. where millions of IPL viewers will end up😆
