was Sid testing Riddhima...again?

Hey guys
we all know that Sid gave divorce to Riddhima so that she could be happy and go with Armaan
however when Riddhima did sign it -it was a big shock to him (with Armaan style screaming, and Armaan background music if anyone noticed)
do you guyz think he was testing Riddhima to see who will she choose this time and perhaps by giving her the divorce papers it will make Riddhima realise to take his feelings more seriously?
i know he was feeling sad cos he lost his love
but didn't expect that kind of reaction from him-Sid doesn't usually give side remarks- agreed that times he does over-react (such as after being sent to prison he took those pics, or after marriage scenes)
one things for sure when he did give Riddhima those sign papers he was not expecting them signed...just my opinion but agter today's episode it almost seemed like Sid was expecting the total opposite of a divorce
the episodes before this when he was telling Armaan that Ridz belongs to Army and that Ridz's name is written in Armaan's heart and that Armaan would do a better job of keeping her happy....he did not mean it cos he was shocked at Ridzy's decision

what do you guyz think?
why did he seem shock? He sent the divorce papers, so what did he expect in return?
poor guy- he looked just as heart-broken as Armaan😭
Ridz keeps on blaming these two for playing with her life
when she's doing no different
btw did anyone also think that she might have feelings for Sid after watching today's epi when she talking with her father? (hope not)

Sid's job in dmg is to test Riddhima
cos both are incapabale of talking to eachother to sort out differences
so they think it's better to just play games with eachother
