Everyone in Kolkatta rejected Himesh and shouted go back HR, Go back Vineet, ofcourse there could be slight Bengali feeling here and Debo might have been given importance, as such kolkatta crowd is famous for illmannerism, they showed several times their bad manners in cricket stadium too.
If Debu had good support in Calcutta, you can't ignore that HR and Vineet had a much better hold in Delhi. They conducted the show in Calcutta b'z Debu hails from east India and Delhi because Vineet is from UP. I'm sure you would agree that it would have not made sense to hold the show in Madras or Hyderabad or Bangalore.
But what surprises me is why is Gajji making this show a National Issue, Indias Voice and all that bla bla words being used by HR and ID while they played dirty politics by eliminating Nehera,Hema and Himani.
Again.. it is the people and not mentors or Gajji who got Nihira and Hema eliminated. They didn't vote enough for them. Why blame the mentors and prodcucer/directors of the show when there is no proof of "dirty politics"?
Everyone should understand for some reason they have soft corner for Himani may be they liked her Nakaharas besides singing that could be the reason they wanted Himani to cheer the young crowd which nehera could not have with her lata mangeshkar outlook.
I fail to understand your problem with Himani performing in Delhi. What is so wrong about that? Is there a said or unsaid rule anywhere that she should be given less importance than Nihira and Hemachandra??
They were shit scared to invite Hema Chandra because had he been there in kolkatta and delhi and presented his song NAHE SAMNE an History would have been created and the crowd could never allow debo or vinnet to be on stage, trust me I am not biased I am telling the truth.
If this is not it, how do you define "bias"?? 😃 If you see how many votes he got from North zone and East zone, you'd take your statement about Hema becoming the star of the evening back.
Leaving the point of regional support aside, there are many like me who think Hema was not as good as many on the forum find him to be. I liked his singing only in one or two songs.
