I think this question is incomplete , Good or bad in what ? Music ? popularity ? quality ? quantity ?

Good or bad is totally individual choice. You may like aksar title song, but I could easily say thats crap.

ID is more onto folk tune type whereas HR is on western style. HR uses drums, guitar more than any Indian instrument and the tuned are more Indian classical style.

To me ID is very good, but that does not mean HR is bad. He (HR) has some very good composition. Devdas is hit so as Tere naam. Both of them are quite good. I think its HRs attitude that made him like this.
