This actually is inspired from MJHT and my physics teacher. Was watching one episode of the serial after ages yesterday, since a friend told me about Mayank-Nupur's 'serious' conversation about their lives, when something struck me. Actually a number of things I really liked, but this one was surely the best!
Mayank says to Nupur while watching an old friend of Nupur being a famous Bollywood director now:
" Kafi focussed hai life mein. Kuch logon ko pata hota hai ki unhe kya chahiye, aur woh une mil bhi jata hai, bas, life ka maksad pata hona chahiye!'
Then in the precap he said: "Life ki roz roz ki struggle mein, hum apne sapne, apne khwaab bhulte chale jaarehe hain."
Translation for those who need it: Some people know very well what they want, and they get it as well. Just, one needs to know their aim in life.
In life's every day struggle, we're forgetting our dreams, our aspirations...
Similar, not further than Friday morning, we had no physics classes because of all the activities at school. Our physics teacher took the opportunity to talk to the few of us who were there. Coincidentally, or maybe not, he said nearly what I saw Mayank say in that episode. He told us that one needs to know the direction one is going in life. If we are in the best girls school of the country, we cannot stop here and need to have a goal, a target in life. You should die with a satisfaction that you've lived your life.
That made me pause a few moments and think a bit. Both things could not be a coincidence, or if it was, it's a beautiful pausing moment indeed.
What do you think about your life? Do you have a goal, an aim? No need to be explicit about it, but let's talk whether you already have decided and are living up to it? Do you feel one should be serious about life, but not necessarily IN life? How important is your goal(s) to you? To what extent would you go to make it(them) happen?
