Dear CVs,
We know you have a DMG campaign and are taking votes on what the fans want. But those polls are so faulty. There is so much multiple voting going on those polls. Plus the poll percentage isn't added up right either. What grade math is :
63% + 16% = 100%?
So, please create fair voting by registering only one vote per IP address.
More than one vote per IP address is simply spamming. Anyone can sit whole day on the computer and can create 1000 fake ids and vote 1000 times but that doesn't mean that there are 1000 people actually wanting that. It is just a single person throwing in 1000 votes and 70 such people can hike up the polls to 70,000 votes. Does that voice what 70,000 people want? No way, it only means 70 people were spamming your polls who might not necessarily be watching DMG on TV and actually watching it on youtube. Then how does it serve your purpose of knowing what the audience wants and what will improve TRP?
So, CVs please wake up and don't be fooled by spamming. If you really wanna know how many people actually watch DMG, what they actually want AR or SR, then create fair polls.
So, CVs your confusion will be cleared of what the audience wants only if your polls are fair, otherwise spamming is not gonna serve your purpose of creating those polls and you will never be able to solve the mystery that if the number of votes on polls is so high then why is DMG TRP so low?
So, limit one vote per IP address and e-mail address if you ever create a voting poll in future. Because same people can vote from different IP addresses, so put some restrictions.
1. Only one vote per IP address
2. The vote has to be validated by actually logging into the e-mail account so there is no creating of fake e-mail ids
And yes, as far as the current DMG campaign votes go, they are pretty much useless as one can clearly see the spamming of same people posting same message again and again by creating multiple fake e-mail ids and voting multiple times. It is just a mouse-click game and those votes don't serve any purpose.
Note : Fellow IF members, it is a universal fact that there is multiple voting going on so please refrain from arguing about that and let the CVs be enlightened about the technical issues with the polls.
Mods : Please don't close this topic bcoz this is our way of letting DMG team know that if they are gonna base their decisions simply on polls, then it has to be fair and not just spamming.
