Suraj was the sunshine in khanak's life but the sun had to set one day so that the auspicious one can enter khanak's life.It's shaan and khanak who r made 4 each other.
Natasha is a good name and she is not a vamp.I really liked her scene where she was epaining khanak's condition to shaan.I hope she doesn't turn negative.She is a lovely person.

here's another look at it:

suraj: meaning light or sun. he was the light of khanak's life. he was the one who lit up her world. suraj was everything for her, the way the sun is essential for life to survive. with suraj gone, the love of khanak's life, the light of khanak's life has disappeared.

khanak: she has lost her life, her light. the sound of bangles is very unlikely at the moment. she is supposed to be full of life. and if u look at her in this time of despair, she still maintains her composure and stands up for her family. she takes on suraj's responsibility. a women wears bangles to symbolize that she is married. but with marriage comes responsibility. the sound of bangles is like a reminder that the woman has to take on the responsibility of the family on her shoulders..

shantanu (shaan): he mean auspicious form. he will be khanak's "saviour" becuz according to the storyline, khanak is supposed to marry him for revenge. shaan meaning respected. he was respected by the entire village becuz he was the company's owner's son-the company which suraj worked for.
