I know everyone is mad at this guy but he is a genius. I am not sure if Shanky wants Rids to be with Sid at the cost of her happiness. He knows that Rids will only heal properly if she learns to move on with Armaan around.
Even if some of us don't like it the truth is when Armaan left Rids shattered into pieces. She had lost all motivation live. There was no life in her. No smiles, no other emotions but sadness.
Sid changed that and he put the pieces of her life together again. That's a reason why she is so attached to him. Though Sid put the pieces together and he maybe able to fill her life with happiness again but Riddhima still remains scarred. No one can fix it. Sid can't fix it because it has nothing to with Sid. It's her old scars.
She has done her best to remove Armaan from her mind. But she hasn't properly dealt with the Armaan issue. In order for her to live a complete life she needs to face her past and Armaan.
I wish Rids would just talk to Armaan peacefully and not lash out on him so much. She knows he was not at fault. Blaming him for no reason is not helping her cause.
