Pride and Prejudice is like MY FAVE NOVEL . . . and I believe, half the concept of this story is aspired by the novel itself . . though, it's not wholly like the novel . . the story line's different though the characters are somewhat like that of the novel. 😊

A MayUr FF - PRIDE AND PREJUDICE . . .
Concept -
This is the story of Nupur, Nupur Kashyap. Love happens once is what she believes in. However, it happens to be a two time affair with her. She lost her love, Armaan. Back in her school days, Armaan died of a car crash . . Nupur still was as much in love with him as much as before until one day Mayank Anand entered her life and changed it FOREVER. She could never know the real him, considering the prejudice in her mind stopped her from that. She thought very ill of Mayank while on his side, it was love at the very first sight, though it took him some time to come up with his feelings. 😳 Nupur never knew she loved him . . . or rather, her strong headed nature made her go with what she claimed to believe in. She never accepted the fact that she loved Mayank.
Will Nupur act on her prejudice or let her feeling show . . this story revolves around this one question .. .. .. 😳

Nupur is a 21 year old student, studying at IIT-Mumbai. She is well read. She's a very head strong and opionated girl. She's very sweet though has a bad temper. She believes letting others know how sensitive one is . . is a sign of weakness. She believes love happens once.

PROLOGUE . . .
"I have been a selfish being all my life, in practice, though not in principle. As a child I was taught what was right, but I was not taught to correct my temper. I was given good principles, but left to follow them in pride and conceit. Unfortunately an only son (for many years an only child), I was spoilt by my parents, who, though good themselves (my father, particularly, all that was benevolent and amiable), allowed, encouraged, almost taught me to be selfish and overbearing; to care for none beyond my own family circle; to think meanly of all the rest of the world; to wish at least to think meanly of their sense and worth compared with my own. Such I was, from eight to eight and twenty; and such I might still have been but for you, dearest, loveliest Elizabeth! What do I not owe you! You taught me a lesson, hard indeed at first, but most advantageous. By you, I was properly humbled. I came to you without a doubt of my reception. You showed me how insufficient were all my pretensions to please a woman worthy of being pleased."
I was reading my fave novel, Pride and Prejudice for the fourth time . . my eyes fell on this sentence . . . it reminded me of the guy I loved and will always love, Armaan . . . Armaan was just the same . . . I loved him from the bottom of my heart and the love has not faded away yet. Today, by a chance also happens to be his second death anniversary. The past has kept me alive . . . the sweet time I shared with him was the best phase of my life and all these days, my love for him has only grown . . has not lessened.
A tear rolled down my cheek . . . I wiped it off and moved my sight to the clock and it had strike 7 . . time for me to get ready for college. I took bath in like fifteen minutes and made way to the dressing table in haste . . . accidentally, I banged my foot hard in the table and it got hurt . . my nail got broken and started bleeding. The past came up to me once again, there was this day, the very same thing happened and Armaan was there to first aid my wound but now he wasn't there. The thought only gave pain, not the actual wound. I felt like someone stabbed me and punched a hole across my chest. I could feel my soul bleeding which was a hell lot more than the bleeding my nail had.
I did the dressing. Applied some Kohl and tied my hair in a plate. That was all I did before leaving for college.
When I reached my institute, I was so not in mood to talk . . as usual . . and just then, Gunjan came running to me. "Nupur . . . wher have you been? Didn't give me a call this weekend." she asked me but I didn't reply, she understood I was in no mood to talk. "Fine. Talk to me when you feel like. See ya later." she said, gave me a hug and left. I love her you know, she's one very very understanding best friend to have. She's my sister, my best friend . . the world to me. 🤗
I was walking, kind of unconscious . . deep in thought . . just then I bumped into someone and was about to fall when he (yeah, that someone was a guy) held me by my waist in order to stop from falling. My eyes met with his, they resembled the blue eyes Armaan had. I don't know what got into me but I felt safe in his arms. 😳 "GIRL!! You okay?" he asked me and I shuddered. His voice broke my deep thought. "Yeah, I'm fine. Sorry!" I said and left.
