A wandering hoodwink
I was a wandering roving hoodwink
Searching for company
On my journey I met many
Together we sailed a boat
In blinded light
And silvering waters
My heart flew out
Endless days of humor and joy
I found these waters beautiful
They swayed in all directions
In nature's and mankind's creation
A note of every reaction
Took a voicing action
This happiness was more than a satisfaction
Suddenly the tides swayed
The boat got butchered
By unknown strong forces
In pieces the boat lay
I found myself surrounded
In the crushing forces of the waves
No one came to save me
I tried to gather pieces
With help from other shining fishes
After all not only was our boat indespensible
But we are not disposable either
So we had to find a means
To start a new journey...But..
Gone was the light
And there I saw darkness's true sight
I was in an illusion
Although spiracles of water flowed beside me
I knew, I made a mistake
The mistake of not foreseeing the truth
That truth which we all fail to see
When we are in a chimera of joyous moments
Today I see, that although I love
Everything and anything
I can't step away from the walls of my heart
That are screaming and aching
