Hello all,
Although I have been an IF junkie for a Loonnnggg time, i'm new to this forum. Just wanted to say hi and introduce myself. So heyy...lol
Okay, so there has been much debate on April 9th's (Friday's) episode. Krishna's behaviour is concerning. But, I feel like we need to keep patience. Instead of measuring him against different standards (ie. good-boy adarsh, devil incarnate shakti), we should give him the benefit of the doubt. Measuring him upto Adarsh is a bit unfair because of the environment in which he was raised im. And measuring him upto Shakti in attempts to excuse his behaviour is even worse because Shakti is an evil character...WITHOUT redemption. And isn't the whole point of Krishna's character, that he is redeemable?? We disrespect the sanctity of Krishna's love for Pratigya by seeking to excuse his behaviour with comparisons to his animal brother.
With that being said, don't think I'm condoning any type of misbehaviour, disrespect, or any level of abuse on part of Krishna. There are a couple seens in particular where he upset me greatly (pretty sure you know what those 2 scenes are)...
BUT, in my eyes, and I am sure in many of yours, Krishna is essentially a good guy. Albeit a spoiled one, but essentially good. Love has changed him. He even stated that himself. The reason why today's episode got me scared is because the creatives are always leaving us on that edge. They show signs of Krishna reaching his "limit" and then leave us hanging. I was very worried at what Krishna will do on Monday's episode. But now I am not so concerned
I think in a way, Krishna coming into their bedroom and asking Pratigya not to make that sad chehra was a form of apology. Now now, be patient ...lol :)
All I mean is for a male who grew up in a household where the idea of anyone saying sorry is considered preposturous, it could be that he doesn't really know how to apologize, so he tries to cover his mistake by pretending that nothing happened, or that what happened wasn't that important. I am sure this will change soon though. :)!! LOVE pratigya!!! She will ofcourse not take anything less than a full blown apology. Its obvious her character is a strong one filled with self-respect. A REAL (not fake or a mirage) strength eminates from her, and I LUB it ...haha
So...I think Monday's episode will be fine, as will the ones after that. I think that slowly but surely Pratigya's love will change Krishna for the better. But I also think that to some extent Pratigya will also change. I think she will learn to except people for what they are. Both Krishna and Pratigya will love each other for what they are...but what they are will change slightly (in his case maybe more..lol), and for the better.
