Remember the prediction?
The dmg sad title sequence is that very prediction materialising before our eyes. Where the truth has finally been disclosed and reaps havoc leaving behind absolute devastation.
And today while I watch the sequence it's exactly how I imagined it...no matter whose side your on, its painful. Armaan Riddhima and Siddhant, three indivduals, mourning the time which envelops them now and that too in solitude. Nothing but the walls to witness the angst, the tears, the sorrow.
Armaan's pain is fresh, he now experiences what Riddhima had when she was going to start that new chapter in her life, a chapter where she was coming to terms with the fact that Armaan was never going to come back. Today, Armaan stands on the terrace with that same realisation....the change in the surname replaying his mind was the proof that Riddhima could no longer fill that absence in his life, not now, not when she was married. For Armaan, Riddhima was his everything, broken, he stands there, a man with nothing.
And Riddhima, she cries on Armaan's behalf. Of course, she didn't want to hurt Armaan, and now that he knows she cries because she is apprehensive of the unexpected. What will he say? Is he blaming me? Please don't blame me Armaan. For Riddhima, Armaan's opinion mattered, he had always been her priority, she had fought with her father for him. But he hadn't been there to witness it. If he blames her today all that effort she had gone to for his sake would be a waste, and she cannot accept that.
And Siddhant, eventhough Armaan knows the truth, his worries havent ended, not conclusively. The motion still stands, him or me? Me or him? Two people who deserved to be together, yet destiny took them apart. I was there to support Riddhima, but what happens to Armaan. Now that he knows, where do we go from here? Every day turning into a travesty, people getting hurt, yesterday it was only Riddhima and I and today Armaan has joined the bandwagon...when will it end? And what wil the consequences be?
To Armaan,
To Riddhima,
To Siddhant:
"The worst pain a man can suffer: to have insight into much and power over nothing"
