I know frnds, all of u must be thinking that y am I disgusted with her today though she did such a wonderful job today.
But I was disgusted with her today for these reasons :
1) I was happy though indirectly but KANHA did raise fingers on her LOVE for Dev and the way she does injutice to PATNI DHARM. I was happy that he pointed out that for RADHIKA Patni Dharm comes at the end. Today she confessed that and though I knew it after hearing it from her side made me disgust her.
2) I was disgusted to see how Radhika holds Dev's hand and leads him to the door of Visakha. I felt so SORRY for DEV. I was so disgusted as it portrayed the feelings of those millions of helpless girl who r held like this only mercilessly and led to their customers door for being raped out. I simply could not see the scene and FF it. I did not feel any beauty in this scene but felt like puking.🤢
3) I was disgusted to know the reasons why Radhika kept quite and thought of taking this route instead of the route of TRUTH. She was still only thinking about her father, her in-laws and her husband was no where in her thoughts.😡
4) I was disgusted to know that she was thinking how would she bear the consequences which will come on her after the truth is out but was so blind to the pains of her in-laws and specially the husband who loves her so selflessly and unconditionally. She proved today to KANHA and the viewers that she is very selfish at heart. She is so selfish that just to save her own skin she remains unaffected with the effects of her actions on DEV, her HUSBAND. She des not care even if if that action kills the soul of her husband, her lover DEV.😡😡😡
Frnds though Radhika took the right path at th end, but today she revealed the dark soul of her's in front of KANHA,🤢 She has proved that she is also not a pur soul.. 😭

The funny thing is if she feels soo much abt her babuji...she needs to think that he is amma's son and of course amma loves him and also vishaka's father..why is she the one who is always worried about him..
i totally agree with you abhilasha

Abhilasha:
Though logically you have valid points but I do not agree with you 100%...
It is her heart's cry of unjustice being done to her broguth Kanha for personal encounter... she cries that my kanha will not let that happen to me
The way she led Dev... Dev being man also allow himself to be led as they both could not see anyway out of it.. Though both were unwilling but it was united decision...
She has been drilled so much about the honor of her babuji will be destroyed by amma everytime she wanted to tell the truth.. The reasons for conceling of the truth at that time and today remained the same.. And that's what she brought forth with Kanha that how can she do that... cause as daughter that's what she has been doing all the time... It was instilled in her by amma and her upbrigning... she could not break it from her by herself... She needed divine help...
and remember It was Kanha in the first place who eluded the truth.. He did not let Radh tell Dev that she was under the veil... He just said Radhika remember that you are in the bridal dress and you are wearing the chunari of my blessings..
Even she wanted to tell the truth on the wedding day on the terrace and so many other time but amma or devki stoped her all the times...
At Rajpurohitne puja she almost runs to him when he was talking about his dream girl..
at Phool bangla --- amma slaps her so hard that dev was disturbed looking at the finger marks on her face..
at the time of Kshama Vrat -- Devki stoped her..
She wanted to do the right thing but did not had enough courage to break all those burden of foster care
When she takes Dev away from her... She did not wanted to do it.. She thought she is doing the sacrifice no woman can ever do as to give her husband away...
She was under misconception and Kanha had to open her eyes that this sacrifice is adharma... She should not have done that... She cannot let Dev get involve in this adarma as the sin will be on his head..
Kanha told her that she might have kept her bahu dharma but she did not keep her patni dharma... And that was the one thing she was lacking in... Dev also asked her manytime.. and what about you being my wife.. but her sense of duty to other things were so high she thought that at least Dev is hers and he would understand her position... Of course every time he did and allowed her to do all other things before him...
But thi... Kanha himself had to open this blind fold... He had to do for Kunti's son Arjuna too... right?? remind him to take the path of righteousness...

Abhilasha ... I think of kanha as her conscience talking to her ... so her conscience was speaking to her finally and telling her to do the right thing. Her subconscious was finally able to break through all the shackles and obligations that she had built up in her mind

So ... it was Rads, IMO (through Kanha), who finally debated all the thoughts raging through her mind, fought her worst fears and made the decision that she would never let Dev be with someone else ... also that she would tell the truth

Abhilasha, I agree with Rajsri.

I have always thought of Kanha as Radhika's conscience speaking to her.

Ever since Radhika met Dev, I percieve her 'inner self' being split into two. One half is always held back by what Amma instilled in her about family obligations and her unworthiness. The other half always pushed itself towards Dev. If you notice most of the time Kanha appears to her when she desperately wants to break free from the emotional shackles Amma has instilled in her mind about family obligations and so on.

During the first wedding, her 'self ' that was conditioned by amma's abuse felt guilty and upset that she was taking her sister's place. But her other self wanted to desperately be Dev's bride. Her other self appeared as Kanha encouraging her to go for it and she ended up being Dev's wife.

After Radhika and Dev's Mumbai trip, when Dev demands an answer to his proposal, again Radhika's ' inner self' that was conditioned by Amma tells her not to accept. However, her other self desperately wants to. Again her other self appears as Kanha and she ends up accepting Dev's proposal.

Here once again, the same happened. Her 'inner self' that was conditioned by Amma once again fell victim to Amma's and Vishaka's abuse. But her 'other self' that is her 'true self' was boiling like a volcano, desperately fighting to have the upper hand. What I saw was these two halves of Radhika's mind fighting against each other and finally her true self, the self that was crazily in love with Dev won.

I also agree with Eva. If you do look at Kanha's appearance as God advising Radhika, then yes you do wonder what would have happened if Kanha hadn't appeared? But by that same logic, Dev was terrible too. He did not have to walk like a lamb to be slaughtered. Whatever vachan Radhika gave, Dev could have absolutely refused to even step into the room where Vishaka was waiting for him.

Rajsri I think you know that we both take Kanha as Radhikas subconsious and today like you I saw her subconsious and conscious mind becoming one...subconsiously she always knew what is right and wrong but her fear was acting as shackles and today she was finaly able to overcome for the only person whom she considers her own.

Angake ...Dev tells Vish no, he will not spend even a minute with her let alone the night. I hated the fact that he walked into the room and would not have forgiven the creatives for destroying his character if he had not said what he said to Vish

But you are right, Dev and Rads (or the creatives) need not have done that drama of walking into Vish's room ... they could have just thought through this whole thing outside the room ... but, unfortunately this is how these dramas work

i am glad that they at least show both of them coming to their senses at the right time ... not just one of them ... the way they showed Rads was through kanha

Rajsri, I agree my friend. I did notice that Dev would have said NO anyways. Wether Radhika came or not, Dev would have backed out. My only point is that if Radhika's act of walking Dev to Vishaka's room was disgusting then we should hold Dev too by the same standards in 'letting' Radhika to walk him to Vishaka's room. I thought both of them were disgusting up to that point but loved what happened later with Radhika fighting her inner battle and Dev saying "NO- I Cannot do this".

Angake, rajsri, eva very well said. Totally agree with you guys on the subconscious mind of Rads speaking up thru kanha. I am so glad that the truth is almost out. I would have loved it if they showed that she told the truth to Dev in private first rather than in front fo everyone. I think getting this information in front of every one will not give Dev anytime to deal with the truth. I so hoped it was him alone who got to know of the truth. i feel there is flaw in a relationship if they cant resolve things between themselves first. Dev is the one that has suffered the most with out being responsible of his situation. Anyway I am so glad that its finally out. LONG overdue.. Also agree with the rads dragging dev to vish's room it was 9 1/2 mins long i ff thru the entire thing. So was not required

Radh taking Dev and Dev though so much unwilling lets her take him...

They both knew that what they are doing is total adharma.. but both thought it was necessary evil...
The moment of Dev's not going through was totally inevitable. He would have never ever gone with a little bit... He was so distraught even with the touch of Vish on his body...
He was sitting there like a stone... But the fact that he let himself led first by radh and secondly by Vish to the bed was totally horrible to watch... Radh I could consider under the circumstances as it was her who first decided to give the sacrifice and she was doing it for their family and for his prestige.. and with that he was helpless..
But let that Vish touch him was Grrrr awwww awful..
But He stood and said no before Radh came and Radh also came before he walked out... So the simultaneous act on both their's part was great as they both came to realization on their own...
They went in together and they came out at approximately the same time on their own...
