nice clean topic..:)

umm..i had stumbled upon DMG a little before kasu...then caught up with the whole thing on YT..left watching it when the AR marraige track with shashank started, and from them onwards,DMG has very consistently maintained its level of showing a no-script show.

i have things for AR,and for SR as well.i understand, that AR are the lead couple of the show,DMG was mainly about AR,their love, which hugely due to the tight script in the 1st year of its running, was successful.i am sorry, but after that, the script was SO weak, that nothing could salvage the show.Plus the change of acresses does affect the continuity of the show, though i like all the actresses.

see, ridhima married sid in un-even conditions,no doubt,BUT she burned all her memories related to AR after her marraige, she had convinced herself to try giving her marraige a fair chance, and had started suceeding in it.Had armaan's entry been a little late, she would have definitely fallen in love again.why, people break after like 10 years of toetherness, and stil lfind love again, dont they?

i always thought the initial episodes of KW-jen was sustained only and only because they look fabulous together, and are gr8 actors.the story didnt make any sense to me.but over a period of time, they have developed that poignant bond between them, and i am saying this even though i mostly just read the written updates..!!..there is a un-spoken bond between them, there is ...something,veryy peaceful in the SR relation.

as it is,the situation now is interesting.she has to choose, between her past and her present,She has tochoose sid,she is commited to him, morever, she owns her life, not once but twice to him!!thats too much of a moral responsibilty to give away.
but , if armaan continues to remain in her life,it will be difficult.after all,its her 1st love, and a pretty deep one.

i can just hope the CVs justify the happenings, and dont sacrifice Sid's character or anything to unite AR.

i would have been really sympathetic for armaan...only iff...he was played by anyone else.

1. Yes, i seem DMG from the beginning. I left it midway and then , came back again during Abhi-Nikki times. I have kept a track of the show mostly.

2. Like the members above me, i also believe that love cannot be compared or measured. What AR had on two years was beautiful and what SR have in three months is magnificent. These are two loves in two different phases of time. And they have a beauty of their own. I like SR because I like SR - they are poignant and stirring. But then ,again , that is my opinion.

Thanks for making this post.

Love and luck to you always,

GOD bless you.

Same here 😊
Even I used to watch DMG earlier and I liked AR. But I started watching DMG on a regular basis only after Sidma pairing. It might be nothing unlike AR but it has its own beauty.
Sidma may not have shared eyelocks or passionate moments like AR but even their silence speaks volumes about their relationship. Marriage is a sacred relationship. Many of the members want AR to get united. I have a question for AR fans.
-> This marriage was not forced on either Sid or Ridz. Circumstances were such that they had to take this step. I agree some of the blind beliefs enforced on us in the name of society is crap but does that include a marriage too?
-> Your love left you so that you could move on in life. Does only one person's love matter to you? Then what about your family, your parents and your friends who have loved you unconditionally from the start? Is it right to grieve in the name of that love and make your loved ones suffer too? What was wrong in Shanky n Paddy wanting their daughter to get settled in life at a time when there were no hopes for Armaan's return?
-> You are married and you have also started to accept this relationship and give love another chance when your flame arrives. So what should you do? Run back to your love? What about your husband, your parents and other people who idolise you? If that marriage was a farce or if your husband wasn't loving or caring and was a monster agreed. But your spouse is fully aware of your past and has accepted you-no strings attached and still wants you to be happy no matter what it costs him. Should you dump him then?
Please don't think in terms of actors portraying this show but the scenarios being shown and give your opinion. AR fans seem to feel Armaan is a saint here whereas Sid the devil. Does this have anything to do with the actors prtraying their characters? If KSG were to play Sid then also would you've wanted AR together?

I have been watching DMG from the first episode with all the changes of ridz and still watching bcos of sid. His chemistry with jenny is so WOW i started to like them together.

I like KW because of REMIX, Ghar aayee nani pari( Colors) and i like him a lot.
Its not a comparison But he portrays all the emotions very well. He has done complete justice to all the characters he played.
Less i have seen him in recent years after REMIX. Hope they will not kill the sid character to unite AR.

1. I have seen DMG from the beginning and I loved AR aka KASH!!!(seen these episodes like ghazillion times)

2. SA left Suku came...Ridzy magic and chemistry disappeared at least to me ... It was like watching our lovable Armaan with....???? and the story around that time...biggest draag!!!!!!!!!
lost interest almost just watching for the heck of it!!

3. She left too!!!!! Jenny came.(by this time it was like Ridzy who???).. I was like whatever.. and the plot must I tell u.. at this point.. all the charm was lost.. coz show was like wha??????? ( I'm sure this is the reason, CVs showed AR sep)

I stopped watching after Armaan had mem loss!!

4. New interns came I didnt watch it that much ... just little bit I didnt like Tamanna with Sid.. I so felt like she is not at all matching upto Sid character....

5. Then, Ridzy was back on the show!!! Sid started having fights.. and there was no love.. but really rude raw fights!!! that go me so interested!!! wondering what's going to happen next!!! u see..
and Sid is an intern and Ridzy is a doc.. and she doesnt care even one bit abt. Sid!!! I got so addicted... I loved them .... and now... i cant get enough of them!!! so first the track!!!! (all the possibilities of intern falling in love with a doc) and then.... JW and KW look awesome together along with great chemistry!!!! so will always love love love SIDMA/JERAN

and yes u can't measure love by time!!! Sid doesnt know what is the intensity of Armaan's love and Armaan doesn't know Sid's love.. Just because somebody is subtle and someone else is loud in their way of expressing love doesnt mean it is higher !!

Hi there, I have watched DMG from the start, and then off and on, and now, mostly off! 😆

I thoroughly enjoyed watching and loved AR perhaps because for the first time, Indian television portrayed the madness and passion that is so characteristic of a first love so sensitively and beautifully. And it was the classic love story ' playboy debonair suave boy and the straight forward, no nonsense, pretty, traditional girl ' wonderfully told.
And then Ridhima changes, creative-star hassles, KSG episodes and what all happened and whether you liked it or not the new intern gang happened and before you knew SR happened.
Yes some SR scenes are powerful, there is magic in some of them but sometimes I feel the CVs rushed their "falling in love". When I say this, let me clarify, I am neither an AR or SR fan but just a viewer making an observation, hopefully unbiased!
I don't know, but the pace of realisation of love between SR seems forced to me. Sid on a rebound from Tammana, and, Ridhima nursing a broken heart and guilt towards her parents, have sought a balm in this unexpected and unplanned relationship. But what's wrong with that? We all do.
Do I miss AR? Sometimes yes, sometimes even regret that they are not together cos they were a great love story, awesomely told, but life is about second chances and moving on, not about always looking back and pining for what could have been. AR was Ridhima's past and SR is her present and we can't always live in the shadows of our past.
SR do have a relationship, and one that shows all promises of being a satisfying, happy and deep one. Two people, thrown together by circumstances and their own foolishness, seek solace, comfort and love from this. That doesn't make it above or below, less or more than an earlier one. Sure it may not be as passionate and fiery as AR was but SR has the potential to be stable, loving and fulfilling and passionate in its own sense and pace and in its own time.
If AR was young hot blood, SR are mature sentient beings, if AR was passion, SR are serendipity....

P.S. - Apologies for my inability to keep my comments concise.

i watched DMG from the beginning during Kash time but i stopped after few episodes!....then i got hooked to it during Kasu time! i never missed any single episode!..it became as an addiction to me!..i watched some episodes during Kagen times too..and then stopped again!

when new interns joined i watched it gain mainly for Sid!..but still i wasn't that hooked meaning i didn't mind missing few episodes every now and then..and then jenny came back ..and i got hooked again because of Siddhima/ sidma/Jeran!..

why do i feel Sid and rids relationship is better then AR?..hmm simply because Arman is Rids past!..and Sid is her presence and future..also their track is a story of second chance!..their relationship bloomed in such difficult circumstances!..

both hated each others guts in the beginning!...both were hurt before and caused each other so much pain!..and then everything started to change..he stood beside her during her tough time..he was her savior!..he fell for her although he knew that her heart belongs to another..he tried to help her to get to the man that she loves!..he taught her to live again to smile again!..and she taught him how to become a selfless caring responsible man.. their story, the way both KW and JW portrayed Sid and Rids characters!...and the magical chemistry they both share on and off screen..that all got me so hooked to DMG again! i just love Sidma

Angel --

1.Hhee.. I have followed a very few epis in the beginning.. loved KaSh chem.. But Armaan char is kinda intolerable for me.. so I stopped watching😃

2. I think so, becoz a. SR are married.. which has few responsibilities from both sides.. they cant spoil a beautiful and most sacred relationship of the world just like tht.. b. Sid doesn't overact, and his expressions and everything I find macho and perfect for Ridz.. c. His love for Ridz is unconditional.. d. They both want their marriage to work..😃

nice topic btw!
