Hey there! To those of you who are not yet aware of my sudden appearances on this forum, i'm Kiran :) an ardent follower of this show since 2 and a half years, and one who doesn't refrain from speaking her mind, so :D here I am!
Usually I tend to stay away from this very war-like zone where everyone's ready to pounce on the other for expressing their views even when NO OFFENCE MEANT is clearly used in places offence is only intended :P but the very chaotic state of the show has made me helpless, so please bear with me :P
So basically, everyone reading this post will/must have some favorite character of the show...say Armaan/Sid/Riddhima or even JP...I do too, and thus just because we LIKE a character, we make ten thousand topics of how our character is right in whatever he's doing, how his actions are perfect, how he/she is the poor heart-broken fellow and how the other is a plain miserable fool (trust me, i have done that too)...but ever failed to notice these characters are highly exaggerated versions of original people, someone we might know? And in real life situations, will we support them the way we support their actions in the show? Probably not. Because it's fiction. Period.
However, I'm basically here to present my POV of the show. The show started 2 and a half years ago, with 5 interns which narrowed down to focus on only two of them in the very first week...Armaan and Riddhima. And we happily accepted it cuz it was the portrayal of a potential love story and we could go gaga over THAT, hmm? So some 6 months into the show, the love story was at a prime peak, the characters were very much human, fighting over normal girlfriend/boyfriend things and so everyone was happy.
Then came the butchering of the side characters, which happened some 1 year after the show began...even earlier...and nothign was the same. However, the focus had been on AR for too long for the viewers to worry abt anything else, as long as their story was being shown. Im one of those viwers, who wouldnt care what happened to the side characters because the side characters were never given enough importance to be developed fully and have a good storlyine!
Just cuz the creatives were concentrating so MUCH on AR, they started and left many stories in mid-way, in the process butchering the side characters and eventually leading them to disaster. And then 2 years after the show, they show AR's supposed death in 5 minutes, the old characters vanish and they throw a batch of 5 new interns for us to adjust to.
New viewers were happy, they got their own characters to hero-worship (and trust me, Armaan isn't the only God-like hero for people here, everyone has a hero for themselves, its just some ppl accept it and some dont)...and all the old viewers left. Not because the new actors werent worth watching, but because for us, DMG was AR, and when that ended, everything else became insignificant. Then low TRPs and whatever excuse the Creatives had made Riddhima come back....sat Tammanna on a plane to US she's not been back from in ages and the Sid-Tamanna story was left mid-way just to pave path for Riddhima-Sid. I seriously wonder what WAS in the minds of the creatives, could they get their old viewers back by just Ridhima? *sighs* seriously dont know!
So began the SR jkourney, many fans tagged along and THEY became the new lovable pair...until one fine day creatives decide to bring Armaan back, and the war that had to be portrayed in the show began on this forum. What love and dedication, i must say :P
So fine, now we have SR and AR...and we have teams supporting them. And then we have team Armaan and team Siddhanth and quite a large lobby of team Riddhima. All have their own views, opinions and reasons to support their characters. But what I always retain is, the Creatives of DMG are lucky to have SUCH great potential of actors in their hands and they are unfortunate cuz they can't give those characters a good storyline. I mean, seriously, they have landed themselves into heap load of trouble by getting Riddhima married to Sid and then getting Armaan back. Heck, an extra marital affair (which i wouldnt mind though, and might be sent to jail for it by some people of this forum) would ruin the traditions and rules and morals of the society, and we would once again fail to acknowledge a reality of our society just by not facing it. SO all SR fans say they should be together cuz they got married and now love each other (which is plain ambiguous to me, i dont see love anywhere) and AR fans will of course want the latter to be together cuz they have been dragged along for 2 and a half years for their sake. And then their love is pure and all that.
Okay, my point here is NOT to mock/criticize anyone...just to say how this show has taken the viewers so much for granted that tehy feed us with any amount of crap and foolishness and we bear with it. Petitions and bans do not even help, let alone make a difference. And all we do is create chaos here and make this platform a perfect example of what happened to DMG creatives...they tried to make sense out of so much nonsense that nothing makes sense to them anymore :P
So this post is basically irrelevant, I just said whatever you guys already knew and wasted both your and my time...i just wanted to bash the creatives, lets just say..:P but still, it's a place to present your views, huh? :P NO OFFENCE MEANT!
