Sony's low trp saga continues....even after spending a handsome amount of capital on revamps.
This saga started with sony's high budget show "Specials at 10" which was although good, but didnt fetch ratings.
Then came shows like raani padmini, palampur express, bhaskar bharti, ladies special...all worked initially, but then failed..
Then came bayttab dil ki tamanna hai and pyar ka bandhan...again...sony expected something from ekta stuff looking at past success of kuch is tara, but failed.
Then came sukh by chance, jeet jayenge hum...and then the most high budget one...THE YRF
No one initially expected that it would be a failure...This was probably the biggest loss of the channel in its history.
Then came godd bharai..which I think would also not last longer...

As sony is coming with new line up of shows again,I am having a strong feeling...SBC is in the hit list as it was not in top 100 for last few months...(infact there was no show except CID, AAHAT and COMEDY CIRCUS!!) 😔

The biggest problem with Sony is their promotion. All they promote are the shows you have mentioned. They need to realize that they have good shows in their kitty, they have low trps because of lack of promotion. Just a bit of advertisement would bring the other shows on the top.

I agree with you. Sony does not promote its shows. I too have a feeling that SBC will be the next show that will go off-air. HattsOff production had awesome shows (BBB, Sarabhai vs Sarabhai) but if the channel decides not to promote them then they will not get the ratings and eventually will end. OMG if SBC ends then no HattsOff production show to watch.

I have Sony Tv in my household and I also have noticed that SUkh by Chance's promos are rarely aired . I think of Sony is delibrately not promoting Sukh by CHance then it is really not fair because Sukh by Chance was in top 100 for almost two consecutive months and Godh Bharai and Jeet Jayenge Hum did not make to top 100 even once .. and Sukh by Chance is the only serial which can call itself "different" on Sony ..
EVen this forum is so much more active then it used to be .. I really hope after Ashwin's coming out Storyline . SUkh by Chance breaks into top 100...

I

@456Kv - Even after Sukh by CHance goes off air we still would Have Behnein, another Hatsoff show on air , but there isn't anything HatsOff in that Serial.

@ birju4baby - I was shocked to know that Behnein was produced by HatsOff. I didn't even watch it for a week. OMG where are the good old days of HattsOff production. I will miss the creativity of this production house if SBC goes off-air. I just hope it continues for a long time. Sony please wake up and promote SBC especially since the suspense in the show is out.
