I don't know if this is the right topic to say this but since we r talking abt giving contestant a challenge to perform a new dance form, I would really like Shakti & Amar to do salsa!! I think they will look amazing!!

As ppl dont know what is the pentomime so here is the some info about it

Traditionally performed at Christmas, with family audiences, British pantomime is now a popular form of theatre, incorporating song, dance, buffoonery, slapstick, cross-dressing, in-jokes, audience participation, and mild sexual innuendo. There are a number of traditional story-lines, and there is also a fairly well-defined set of performance conventions. Lists of these items follow, along with a special discussion of the 'guest celebrity' tradition, which emerged in the late 19th century.

It was performed in many countries like:-

In Australia

In Cambodia

In Canada

In France

In Luxembourg

In Germany

In Switzerland

In the Netherlands

In the United States

Development as a distinctly English entertainment

The pantomime first arrived in England between opera pieces, eventually evolving into separate shows.

In a simple way

It is a clown or funny dance with much more & i can lots of expression in it.............................

Hope D sir will be doing good.........

Enjoy

But I have a gut feeling that Geeta will paint his face white or black with darker circles around his eyes and lips, such that expressions cannot be made out easily.. Anyway many Pantomime versions do paint faces white and so she will escape that way... Just my thoughts...

Punit- Lyrical Modern

Punit has already done so many lyrical dances..........His Cricket and Joker performance are lyrical dances for the most part. So i dont entirely agree with that choice.

Shakti- Modern Bally
Did u mean Modern Ballet for Shakti? I dont necessarily agree with that choice. Its FAR too close to comtemporary which Shakti has done to death.

Kuwar:- Arial contemp
I've seen him do a lot of stunts before......so Im not too excited about it 😕

Binny- Contemporary
Hasnt she done that already? A couple of times????........

I like these choices:

Dharmesh Pantomime
Dharmesh isnt really known for expressions. So this is a good opportunity to work on that.

Amrita:- Broad way & theater dance
Amrita is an expert in India styles so I feel this choice is amazing for her. Hope Geeta does her research this time!

What I would do:

For Punit, I would give him modern tap dance! From what I've seen Punit doent really have agility. He seems slow most of the time, and very grounded to the floor. Its a fast paced dance and that requires oodles of energy and timing!

For Shakti, I would give her a Salsa or some sort of Latin solo. There have been many Salsa solo's which have been done beautifull. You could also fuse Salsa with belly-dancing or something else.

For Amar, he's very good with stunts and has agility and all that. What I would do is give him House dancing. House dancing is all based on footwork and pumping your mid-body in and out. It would've worked awesoem for him!

Here's an example of house:
It seems easy but it really isnt!!!!!! ( watch the footwork) and please watch the girl Tara-Jean as the guy isnt really doing it properly.

For Binny, I would give her jazz-funk! Its a combination of SO Many things. You need flexibility, aggression, sharpness...EVERYTHING....

Here an example of Jazz- Funk: (its not the best example out there, but its somewhat good lol

I didnt watch earlier episode so i m not sure if Punit, Shakti, binny and Amar haev done these styles before. If so, then please disregard

I really like your post as u have said it was true & perfect & also also think that i also agree with only 2 & other know what to do................so its its only the post tag line only "Too Weird"
As punit know what to do & even shakti know as she know how to do that & even Kuwar its not at all a dance style its a acrobatics style and i think many have done it so nothing new to all this 3 one & i think terrence had given challenge to Geeta only not to Remo & not even to his contestent also .........So geeta contestent goes out quickly & his contestent win the show..............but dont worry geeta will fight back for sure & also when geetas turn lets hope Amar is not there & then it would be fun to see shakti doing the pure & hardcore classical & folk it will be fun to watch that one & even to punit also.......but now if the masters r doing partiality then y not geeta start & give her contestent the same that they have done & to remo & terrence the most hard dance that they have ever do that........... Now as its my POV

There's a mixed version of Pantomime and Hip-hop where face painting is not required... If Geeta uses that as an example for D's act, then she will do it with the painted face... But usually face is painted white for Pantomime, but in D's case, I wont be surprised if Geeta opts to paint him black or some dark color so that expressions or the lack of them wont be visible... I think only Vrushali, Siddhesh, Punit and all can do expressions so well with painted faces..

ROLF CC!!!Pant-patloon dance!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Pantomime is the oldest known dance to date and actually maybe the original dance form of all dances. Pantomime originated out of Mime from Greece and landed in Italy where it became an every day occurrence that was to become very popular. It is known to have existed among the Chinese, Persians, Hebrews, and Egyptians and has been observed in many other cultures. During Caesar's time period (Rome), mime was to be developed into Pantomime, masked dancers (Pantomimi) would use body movements and gestures to tell their stories in silence, or maybe because of a language barrier, to interpret to foreign dignitaries, these stories were usually about mythology or legend as well as comedy skits. These Pantomimes became very popular as a form of entertainment.

Pantomime is kind of like miming. Let's just say this dance actually is HEAVILY dominated by expressions! In pantomime, the dancers generally paint their face white and perform, It's usally suppsoed to be a comedy act.
I think Vrushali did a pantomime dance last year?
