LOL thats so true. There is no consistent characterization at all. Each persons character takes a complete 360 degree turn according to the requirement of a particular scene or episode without any thought about their past behavior. And then they come up with the lamest justification for it (if at all the care to justify).

LOL agree with your 10 yr old kid comment. Won't be surprised if no one comes to collect the award and they say "Sorry we don't exactly have a story writer"

Guess what? He IS the STORYWRITER!!! 🤣🤣🤣

Thanks for the reply.

I soo miss the independent, self confident,no nonsense, ambitious, idealistic, innocent, naughty, girly, spunky Ridhima that we all and Armaan fell in love with. Where is she now???? I don't recognise the women on screen now.

Jenny is such a great actress. Yesterday when I saw her jump around with those kids I saw a glipse of the old Ridhima again. I remembered all those moments when she n armaan would have these cute fights for stupid reasons and when she would kind of play pranks on him (rem the kitchen scene where she drops water on his pants). I soooo miss that happy, jovial Ridhima.

Jenny has the talent and the cute looks to potray that side of Ridhima so well. They are simply wasting her talent by making her cry buckets in every scene and making her look like a younger version of the tulsi's and parvati's.

I have a new name for Riddhima: RIDDLIMA

If anyone who can figure this girl out, they should receive an award from all DMG viewers.

Sometimes I feel Riddhima doesn't need a husband or a lover, what she needs is a good psychiatrist.

Lol so true. The person who figures her out will recieve so many blessing because they will have ended the mental torture of so many DMG viewers.

Maybe Sid and Armaan can get together and admit her into Armaan's old ward in the psychiatric hospital

No No I think even a 10 yr old can write a better story than this. If nothing else he/she will atleast be consistent with how their characters behave in the story and will definately be more creative than our great CVs.

Frankly I don't think they have a writer at all. This is how I imagine they shoot.

Morning shoot of DMG:

Crew member to director: Sir what is the scene we are shooying today??
Dir: I don know. Who's there on the sets now??
Crew: Karan n Jenny have reached.
Dir: Fine we'll shoot a scene with them.
Crew: So wats the scene and where are we shooting??
dir: Hmmmm. Lets see. We have'nt shot in the fire escape in a while. Its getting dirty so lets shoot there. About the scene . What did we shoot yesterday?
Crew: We shot a scene where Armaan is trying to woo her back. But she did not agree.
Dir: Since she did not agree we'll show him wooing her again this time in the FE.
Crew : Ok

Sometime later

Dir: Karan u have tell Ridz sorry and ask her to forgive you and ask why she is not talking to you.
Jenny u cry.
Jen: But what should I reply when Armaan asks me the ques?
Dir: Hmmm lets see. Why are you angry with him????
Eureka ....I got it. Just tell him that you are angry because he left you in panchgani and because he came back. Thats the only thing that Armaan has dome on the show in the last few months so u can't exactly blame him for anything else.
Jen: If you say so.
Dir: Action

I disagree with you on that point. They started assasinating her character even when shilpa was there. There were so many instances when Ridhima would blame Armaan for no reason at all or would simply fight with him and we viewers would pull are hairs thinking why the hell is she behaving this way for no rhime or reason.

And I don't really think her character has anything to do with the actress playing the role. Had Shilpa continued to play Ridhima i still think the CV's would have spoilt the character like they have now.

Thanks for replying though.

Excellent Post....you so accurately point out all of the pain points of us DMG viewers. Riddhima's character is so far reduced form the original, that I have no hope of ever seeing the independent, resilient girl anymore. In the past, I was convinced that if there was one thing that Riddhima know, it was that Armaan loves her unconditionally....and after the ROKA, I was starting to believe that she too loved Armaan unconditionally...even though she make a fuss about all of his little blunders.

What I fail to understand is and agree with you on is....why she will not admit to herself that she still loves him...and why she does not express concern for Armaan...even privately. I mean we see her remember her times with Armaan before and after his return, and we see the way she reacts physically and emotionally every time they are in close proximity....so this leads us to believe that she still loves him with the same intensity....but I want Riddhima to admit it to HERSELF that she is still MADLY in LOVE with Armaan!! If this happens...it will at least begin to make some sense....and viewer may again begin to relate to her dellima.

I will grant that she is in a bad situation, LOVE vs. Marriage (obligation, society, etc...) is not an easy decision...but the one thing I want her to be clear on and admit is that she is and will always be IN LOVE with Armaan.!!!!

😆 This cracked me up big time.
now coming to the topic...there is no justification for Riddhima's behaviour. DMG had stopped making sense long before but this has to be the limit. I cant understand head and tail of the show and characters anymore. She is angry with armaan because he left him to die??I think the opposite holds true. When Armaan was dying in some corner of the world ,Riddhima was enjoying her honeymoon.

And now madam cannot reach at a decision as to whom she wants armaan or sid just for the simple reason that she wants to eat the cake and keep it too. She wants to keep both the men at her mercy.
