What Nonsense! Is this what we love?

Hey everyone, for those who don't know me, am Sneha. Was on this forum ages ago before I left due to the obvious state of this forum. I did watch DMG from now to then though, because I always hoped somewhere deep down I would get back the show that was my very source of inspiration. I aspired to be someday the Dr. Riddhima Gupta I'd grown to love, since medicine also is my greatest passion till date. I started watching again more fervently after a really long time, when Sid-Riddhima got married, since I love JeRan as a couple.

Today I saw something that threw me off my seat, that got me thinking a lot. For quite a few seconds, I was pretty numb actually, to see that the serial which I used to take pride into getting addicted to had to stoop to such low levels for TRPs. There was a time where I took pride in calling DMG mine, Riddhima's story my inspiration and Armaan's love my wish for the same too. Today, I am pretty much left with nothing that resembled what I thought was mine.

Let's forget KaJen for a moment. Let's throw away images of JeRan. Let's talk about a husband, a lover and a wife. Riddhima is confused about her love. Agreed. Of course she would be. No one forgets their first love in a split of a second, especially on being left alone after such an accident without any news whatsoever of the beloved. Anyone can feel the difficulty in choosing between a somewhat forced arranged marriage husband, and a returned, sweeter than ever-before lover. That's life being portrayed. For sure thumbs up there! Whatever the reason for bringing back KSG, Riddhima's confusion was very well shown!

BUT, which husband asks his wife to pretend about being her ex-lover's wife. Who's so generous for his own people? Especially when he god damn LOVES his wife? How can Sid, how can ANYONE watch his bride taking vows with someone else and sit quietly for fear of his mother? Have creatives gone mad. Get me one real case, ONE case where this kind of thing happens!

On the same instance, which wife, accepts willingly to take vows in front of everyone when she's already married. They may show her not wanting to wear the 'mangalsutra' perhaps at the last moment, but what about the words she said? Are words so much of less importance than symbols of marriage? And here I thought they were more crucial!

Let's take a moment, pause and think about what we just saw! Are those Indian values, are those values of any society, culture or religion? Yes, Armaan loves her and is not at fault, but what lover pressurizes the woman he loves, doesn't even realize she is saying it all for someone else's pleasure? I used to admire Armaan for his love, and I still do, but what about the realizing the girl he loves is not into it? The creatives have not only ruined the personalities of all of these characters, they've destroyed their very sanctity. Armaan used to be the guy who'd sense the slightest hitch in Riddhima's discomfort and do nothing against her wishes. Now, using someone else as defense, he makes her say these vows in front of everyone else? THIS is the Armaan I wanted for myself? Seriously...


I am not telling you guys not to fight over here, since that's what we do best on this forum. But please, if I can get to read some nice, intelligent comments before this thread closes, would be cool! Mods, please close the thread upon any signs of misbehavior, I have absolutely no problem with that. Let's just forget for once, we're a KSG, KW or Jenny fan, and think about this so-close to life characters we've come to love. Is whatever happening in the show really the right thing? If you ask me, the NO seems way too apparent!

Basically it is NOT NOT NOT the DMG we love. Its gone haywire and maybe the real scriptwriters are on a leave and its the peons who r making merry in the meantime. They are destroying the 3 main leads of the current plot- Riddhima, Sid, Armaan. What the heck do they want to do with them, they themseleves dont know. And yes , it doesnt matter at atll which side we are one, we can unanimously agree on the fact that it is a dumb move to show it if it actually takes place.

The fact is Sneha, no one can even blame Armaan for any of this..he's the scapegoat here..HE has NO CLUE! Whoever SHOULD do what they have to do here is SR!

First of all I HIGHLY dissappointed and I lost WHATEVER sort of respect I had for Sids character when HE LIED to his mother about being married ( He didn't have ANY reason to do that initially...yet he did.the Naina issue came up after that so thats NO EXCUSE) I NOR my parents think that Sid is worthy of being a husband for that point! Thats absolutely sick!

Secondly, yesterdays scene where he announced hsi decision..sorry that just made me DISLIKE the character of Sid to no extent! NO husband in the world would make his wife FAKE to be the WIFE of her LOVER! Thats beyond disgusting behavior for me!

As for Riddhima, she needs to freaking stop running in circles now! I sympthatized with her towards the beggining, and still do at times, BUT its enough..She had MORE than enough time to tell Armaan..thats shes marriedd! SHE KNOWS THE TRUTH..the PERSON thats getting hurt at the end of the day is ARMAAAN!


Armaan doesn't KNOW anything thats happening..NOR is anyone helping him out and telling him the truth!


As much as i love AR, I do NOT agree to this wedding for the reasons stated above..and instead would have liked Armaan to find out the truth!

i know they have ruined all the characters. its time we all stop watching..SR and AR and YUNA fans...this show isnt doing justice to anyone

I agree in parts, I don't in others. Sid's character has been the one I've loved the most since yesterday! He's proven to be a gentleman throughout, but I think his character is now bordering ridiculous instead of generous. I loved how he married Riddhima for everyone's else sake, despite everything. I loved how he expressed himself when he had to say he was doing all bad things to her he would never do to anyone else. I loved how he told her not to go away from the house because he likes her, and is willing to give her her time and space. I loved how he cared about her, how he let tears escape when he saw Armaan back because he couldn't bear watching Riddhima with someone else. Above all, I LOVED it when he said he'll let her take her own decisions. That's the sign of a generous love. As they say, a generous love always has its will ready. He's beautifully done ALL of that!

But I hate how the creatives are turning him into. God, he was the one who'd fight against everyone to get his first love, Tamanna. Is this how easily he lets go of the one woman he loves now, his very wife? The boy who does things he would never have thought of for his Tamanna, now accepts to watch the woman he loves taking vows with someone else?

The fault is not Armaan's. I can't agree more. And Armaan's still a sweetheart. But I still don't see how he can't understand his basket. He used to be the one who'd sense her discomfort above all. He could look through her eyes and know her. He even said that today. And right the next day he's taking vows with her against her wishes? COME ON! That's the Armaan we love? Why are they showing him so selfish suddenly? Out of everyone, Armaan so selfish? The one person I never thought would be so...

Riddhima, I somehow understand her a lot more than the rest of the two leads. Though of course, being a girl, and above all a future wife most probably, I can't see how she takes vows with someone else for whatsoever reason. A married woman takes pride in her being, the only relationship for which she can live all the other relationships with pride. That's what she's doing with it?

Creatives... No comments seriously Anu Di! I used to think they make mistakes, like everyone does. But, some mistakes are not pardonable, sorry, they just aren't!

RS... I can't agree more. Despite everything we may differ on, I think that point is pretty clear. Even YuNa have far from been given a decent storyline.

Of all the storylines they have, they could have made master pieces. Sid-Riddhima talking together, while still being unsure of their love for each other, about how to tackle Armaan's sudden return. Armaan trying to ask people from his time about Riddhima. His distress over knowing about her marriage and what he would do. Yuvi trying to calm down Naina and his scenes explaining to her how to persuade her father. His plans, about it all, their life, and their future. Raj and Sue's blossoming love.

Instead, they've made a JOKE out of it all!

KSG is used by the cv's...unlogon ka TRP bar raha hai...hum log ye faltu serial sirf KSG ke liye dekhte hai isiliye CV's yeh sab kar raha hai....i just hate it....hating DMG more than before

n how can rids do it...she does not have any self respect....sid kaha usse aur woh maan gai...very bad...

i dont know what cvs are up with armaan charector but sid and rids are totally ruined now
