If you work in the women's commitee and stand up for womens rights and protection
Then what is going through your head when you know your son rapes his wife? And the next day to act like " oh your husband beats you and rapes you..Its OK! heres some jewelry and a bandaid.."

Manju and her whole family need a beat down..

You do make a good point. I have worked on women's committees and a lot of them are full of women who are rich and have nothing better to do with their time. They don't have any interest in the rights of women or helping them. Most are looking to "show off" in their society circles that they are caring individuals. So to find a woman like RA on a committee is not uncommon. They are the reason why a lot of progress cannot be made. A lot of them are kept because they do contribute generously which helps keep the comittee going. It's kind of a double-edged sword.
