What's so special about Rajshree? Their concern for their unit and their actors is something out of this world. You know Kavita Barjatiya, who is the producer of the show would suddenly drop in and ask, "Is the production ok? Are you looked after well? Is your room fine, is the food good?" God! It's so overwhelming; I just can't describe it in words.

What has your character Karan offered you as an actor? Variety! And freedom! I can do my hair the way I want, I can dress up as I like and wear whatever I want to wear as long as it looks good. I can use any type of body language or manner of speaking.

How much can you relate yourself to the character you are playing in Yahan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli? Let's say 80%. But certainly not fully, because the issues we create on television are away from real life. In real life, I would say, a girl wearing a skirt is not a big deal, but in a serial we deal with it. So, we make small issues big in a serial. Also the real Karan does not react to things so strongly as the screen Karan reacts.

Ok, but why you became an actor? Was it that look into the mirror? Not at all! Actually, after I finished my engineering, I took a detour and started doing event management. It was when I saw all those stars on the stage in Filmfare Awards etc. I decided to step into it.

So, can you recall your first day when you faced the camera? Yes, it was miserable. I was in Saarthi and my first shot was as Arjun draped in all that mythological paraphernalia. I couldn't even go for a pee in such a heavy costume. And with all that I had to say "Yada Yada hi dharmasya" but I was little scared as I was wondering how it will shape.

Do you have any role models? Aamir Khan! Without a shred of doubt! |

Let's go back to your show; can you recall your best shot from the show? I had a scene when I am waiting for Aabha to propose to her with candlelight, guitar and flowers. And then the door opens and there stands my father Shirishji. I am miserable.
