Calling all Debo and Vineet fans

There are many (mis)conceptions about Debo/Vineet fans. Trying to find out how true they are, I know some of the choices are really offensive, but I did not make them up, they are here on the forum or were mentioned on the show

Try to be judicious, in letting others know why you choose Vineet or Debo

The question is Why do you like them? ( and Not do you like them?)

and please dont make this as a battlefield

I like Debo's singing mainly because of his voice (find it very soft and melodious)

debo has a unique voice and i can imagine him as a playback singer.

I thought there were far more Vineet fans than what we see here

Dazlingflower, you find Debo's voice unique?? Well, then, I am sorry, you will also realise that almost every second adult male you meet outside (if you talk to them) has unique voice!! Please talk to some people and experience that discovery for yourself. I mean to say he just has an average male voice, nothing special. I can understand your stand. Because Vinit has less base in his voice (but only 17 now), you seem to fall for Debo's voice. This is Debo's only edge over Vinit, but we want the best singer at the end.

If you want a GOOD SINGER, then Vinit is the clear choice; he sings quite better than Debo. Truly unique is Nihira's voice, very sweet and lilting, and also she sings very well.

i will go for VINIT only and only of his singing

Max 10 options, I used them all, and well the way it works in democracy, choose the least worst one if you dont like either, then next year, chuck that person out, get another one, that is the only way you can improve, you get my point I hope

Whatever u said is your opinion.

The point of SRGMP is to find a playback singer for a hero who is usually an adult (and in that case we need a male contestant with a masculine voice). Same thing applies for a heroine (in this case we need a female contestant with a matured feminine voice). So either way, voice matters.

In MY opinion, Vinit doesn't fit any of my mentioned critereon (does not have a matured voice and certainly not a uniquie voice) . If anything I find his voice quite ordinary and at times plain cacophonous.

To me, the appropriate voices for playback singing are:

Male: Debo, Hema, Sharib, Abhijeet, Niladri

Female: Nihira, Ujjaini, Twinkle.

There r others whom I didn't mention like Dishaad, Keka, Swananda, Himani, Sanchali because I felt that they r very good but somewhat limited to a particular genre.
