Simple and Pure Friendship?

I'm really confused now... Loved this week's episode but there were two instances where Mahi-Shiv relationship was referred as 'Simple and pure friendship."

First, when Mahi-Shiv are watching DDLJ and Mahi says how cool is it to have an old friend back and no tensions and problems only simple and pure friendship.

And in the precap Shiv says why can't it be just simple and pure friendship?

Is this foreshadowing? Is it kind of making grounds for keeping MaHiv friends and bringing Ishan back ultimately as Mahi's dream guy?

If that is so, then I would be HUGELY disappointed... Initially even though I wanted her to be with Shiv, I would have been OK if Ishan really was what he appeared to be. But after he cheated on Mahi and broke her heart so ruthlessly, I don't want her to take him back no matter how sorry he is.... I don't know... I'm just scared... but whatever happens for me, it's always MaHiv!

I so DO NOT want Ishaan to come back as he doesn't deserve Mahi...

I don't think it's foreshadowing but I do think that Mahi and Ishan will get back together for a while, while Shiv remains the best friend.

Yeah, there are 26 episodes in this season and it's already half way through...

Hmm... maybe Jen, Mahi and Ishan will get back together again and then Shiv might realize his feelings for Mahi... and even Mahi. She will be with Ishan but she will miss Shiv and his company. Maybe that's how both will realize that their relationship is more than simple, pure friendship.

it doesnt look like ishan is coming back... and if he does... mahi wouldnt accept him.. otherwise if hes back inher life..it ruins the show for me!
