Rahul calls me papa: Dimpy's father

My Board exams are on till March 31. We'll be going to the airport to receive them. I call Rahul, LJ (Lambu Jijaji) and he, in turn, calls me LB (Lady Bachha). I'll probably wear a red sari on April 3, when didi and LJ come to have lunch at our place. LJ's favourite mishti doi and pink rosogollas are a must for lunch.

They call up everyday. Rahul calls me papa. We live in a joint family and Dimpy's grandpa plans to gift her grandmom's jewellery to Dimpy and his ring to Rahul. I've bought dhuti-punjabi for him. Rahul will wear that when he goes to Dakshineshwar. I don't know what else to give my jamai, who has gifted a 2.5 crore ring to Dimpy! I'll do all that I can afford to do. I'm planning to buy a red Benarasi for Dimpy. I'd want her to wear it for lunch on April 3.

Rahul is a vegetarian. I'm planning a spread of paneer biryani, enchorer kopta, potol posto, aloor dum, begun bahari, mochar ghonto etc. Prawns are a must for Dimpy. Rahul also freaks out on mishti doi. So, we'll arrange for 10 kinds of desserts. Rahul has gifted me a silk sari. I plan to take Dimpy out for shopping in Kolkata. Rahul is just like my son. He even calls me maa!

very sweet..........but what makes me laugh is if you are not going to call your father and mother- in-law...papa and ma........then what are you going to call them? 99.9% of the nation call their in laws ma and papa........its custom...whats the big deal behind that.....LOL............ 😆

May be they were expecting uncle and aunty or better still mr & mrs Ganguly 😆 😆 😆
