Shiv - No Feelings for Mahi? Or Not Accepting yet?

Apparently, Shiv also thinks that it's only simple and pure friendship... He asks in the precap "Why can't it be simple and pure friendship?"

My question is that does he not have any such feelings for Mahi or is just ignoring them?

The way he was looking at Mahi in the end of last week's episode when the pictures are being taken was definitely more than just friendship...

The way he says "Meri Mahi" meant more than that... 😳 Or maybe not? 😲

What do you all think? He really has no such feelings for Mahi beyond friendship? Or does he himself not know it yet? Will he fall for Mahi and Mahi for him?

Right now I think Both Mahi and Shiv considers it a friendship and for Shiv she is his buddy, his childhood buddy. They both care about each other, have hugs, laughs, cries,..Today when Mahi told him that she did everything with Ishaan and it was the best time for her, it didnt move Shiv because she is a friend who is dear to him. Developing feelings and realizing those feelings will take time. Some event or some person will make them realize it. More they will spend time with each other the more valuable they will become in each other's life and more protective & possessive they will be for each other. Once that possessiveness will be there, they will not be able to share each other with any third person.
It will be interesting to see how they eventually move from friendship to the land of love...

Jen - Yes, that was in the precap... It seems like another Late Night Chhat Chat is on its way... Mahi asks him "Lekin tum yeh sab kar kyun rahe ho?" Shiv says, "Iss mein koi badi saazish hai" And there are some other scenes and then Shiv says, "Why can't it be just simple, pure friendship?"

I agree with pj52, it is a little early to take it to that stage, I suppose. But I think Shiv does have some feelings for Mahi... Yes, he is a really nice guy but since the beginning, he admired Mahi. He liked her even when she was so rude and he didn't know she was 'his' Mahi. And then the engagement party time, I don't know I could feel that he has a special place for Mahi in his heart.... We'll see, I guess... Mahi doesn't feel any chemistry with Shiv yet. Hopefully that will change soon.

im confident that he likes mahi....and for all you know he is trying to explain the same thing to himself...that why he just cant be frinds with mahi!

it will take some time to develop and i am glad dey r showing it this way you know, it gives a touch of realism to the whole thing..... i mean cummon even with the best of friends.....cupid takes a long time to strike its fatal arrow!!!..
